...general question....if an all female got a 'lil stressed and spat out some pollen on a nearby female..and fertilized it, would the resulting seeds be hermaphrodite, female, or mixed male/female?....?
i'm not 100% sure i'm just a closet hack but i think if the hermi was created from envromental stress {ie} grow conditations. and you fix that problem you may not wind up with hermi prodogy but the chance will allways be there for it to herm if stressed.
a plant that throws nanners for no reason just a genitic thing then i wouldnt plant them chances are high you'll have hermi prodogy. but like i said not 100% sure
i have a cross i'm planting soon seed in water now
Lavender [fm] x EvenFlow [m] = Mr.Ed
i was gifted lavender cuts ran them for while few runs n/p then last 2 runs had few nanners show. needless to say i'll be watching these seed like hawks when they get flowered Nanner patrol. i consider this well worth the hassel because if i can snag a stable lavender pheno i'm happy camper this cross should be bomb A$$
I have the same dilema
Never ever done hermapradite seeds before but do stress , to the max , sometimes not intentially
But have some feminised seeds / should i clone it ?
I grow in my attic and stress is all part of it as i cant visit when i want with kids about etc , try my best but it's just not possable
Actually told a lie sorry , have had a feminised go hermie before
DUTCH PASSION !!
I'll spare my thought but whot would you think if it pollinated your whole other regular crop ?
All that time effort risk and money to get worthless seeds / or seeds i have no interest in
Well I have a long story about first getting started growing with my medical recommendation in hand but, lets not.. I think it funny but I guess I don't tell it well or something.
Had a known Hermaphrodite and crossed it with three feminized seed plants.
I am yet to grow out the S1's of the Hermaphroditic plant however two of the more Indica strains produced all female seeds that never hermied that I could tell.
The one more Sativa strain tended to carry the late term hermaphroditic trait.
Neither strain started out male.
