Even if the mag has lost street cred, I have a confession...LISA, with the dimples, the ms HT of 08 I think? Aw man I loved that girl...I got a couple issues to see her :)

Some of the info is good..I love bud porn, so sometimes I just check the pics ..

Hightimes is good for what it is...a trashy newspaper stand magazine. It doesn't stand out above the rest nor is it totally the worst of the worst. It's definitely something to pickup on once in a blue moon for shits and giggles but it's not something I'd read regularly.

:yeahthats....HIGH TIMES SUCKS..I have some real old issues and they used to have centerfolds of 8balls of coke..I remember 1 issue i have from the 70;s I got from my pop..It had a poster called mother of pearl...and shrooms and acid..back in the day it was pretty awesome...NOW IT SUCKS

I used to read it religiously - had subscription delivered back when ya couldn't buy it here in Canada.

I cancelled subscription after I had a huge hassle getting the "bonus" calendar due with my payment. I wrote, called - finally after a year of hassling, they sent me the previous years calendar. Previous year - wtf am I gonna do with an old calendar?

That and the fake budz keeps me away now - CC mag was decent, but now most stuff online is much easier to access, and more up to date.

I live here now.

High Times is still pretty good reading material but I don't have a subscription or anything so I'm not reading every issue, which probably like they said use a lot of recycled shit.

The actual International Cannagraphic magazine has been better for a couple years I'd say. That's how I really got into this website.

I must also stick up for Hightimes... Hightimes has been there for 30+ years for the cannaculture. There is no other magazine in the US that do what they do. I have madd respect for HT.

They also have been very good to me allowing me to submit articles and photography in the past. (I must be one of the hacks hah)

Fun times, and I enjoy Hightimes for what its worth... I dont worry about the lame stuff... Nothings perfect. ^_^

kinda funny i will read everything in the mag i already read on here a month or two prior

anyhow i will renew it when they ask me to
i read it
my wife then reads it, she is not a smoker
then if one of my buddies don't take it home and forget to return it
i like to hand them out to the older teens at the local park

yeah HT is a joke and has been for a long time to me
but they helped me find my way here............
and to those kids its a whole new world opened up :yes:

True that shit. I got buds of mine that I smoke with that have no clue that i grow my small amount of smoke. Them ass hats are always telling me about this and that (wrong info for sure about growing) they got out of high times.. Dont blame HT alone. These guys are kinda stupid....he he he he:)


I get all the "smoke" info i need right on icmag.............

I hope you understand that I wasn't trying to be rude or insulting. There are certainly exceptions to every rule, as I mentioned in my previous post. However, it is undeniable that Hight Times has much lower image standards than other monthly publications of comparable circulation.

If you want to see some nice pics dont pic up a high times....Check out the POTM threads..Pic one. Some of those pics are killer and could be in the mag with no problem.

The problem with high times is that its old school and just is not needed any longer. In the name of evolution has come ICMAG!!
