I trimmed some lower branches yesterday.. Maybe it's too late, but I hope it'll be useful anyway! Trial and error.. that's true! I'm pretty sure I'll do a lot better next grow. I've already got 10 seeds of Shiva Skunk from Sensi Seeds..

White Mold

White Mold

I spotted white powdery mold on one plant today.. :1help: It was on some bottom leaves and buds, that I've already removed. What should I do? I'm finishing the 5th week of flowering.. I read about spraying both leaves and buds with water+milk (powdery milk?). What do you think about? I'm worried that mold could catch on the other two plants too! :fsu:

Just finished my first run with white berry. Had two different plants, one was a mild fruity smell and the other was 'blast you in the face' fruity. Unfortunately, the less fragrant of the two was the higher yielder but they were both decent yields. Definitely let them go to around 60 days, they are really tasty buds. The potency is a little less than I hoped for but still a good high and great tasting.

Good luck with your mold issue, try lowering the humidity.

Another bad news.. Hermie

Another bad news.. Hermie

I've definetely got a hermie.. :fsu: I noticed nanners coming out from one of my plants.. Should I try to remove them? I think it's quite hard because, even if they're not everywhere, they're widespread. But I can try.. Please help!

I'll post some pics, but no doubts it's a hermie.

Thanks!

How old is it?

I noticed sacks on mine and took um all off just last week - I know some seeds have formed but atleast the resin is still good.

It's 37 days into flowering.. so at least it still needs 2 weeks before harvesting.. Most of all I don't want to risk to impollinate the other plants too..

Thank you for the reply growMEDS!

Hi Hippiegrower! RH is between 45% and 75%, temps between 22C° and 28C°. But I've got another bigger problem now.. I hate hermies!

sorry to hear about the nanners, I would say pluck em though. So your hum should stay(ideally) near 40 when in flower, when do you water? Watering when the lights first turn on helps as opposed to at night.

Temps sound good

I know hum is too high.. Usually I water 5/6 hours after lights are on, when I come back from work, not everyday of course. Moreover weather is really sultry during these days.. :wallbash:

So the situation is like this:

3 plants, 37 days into flowering. More or less they still need 14 days to ripen. One of them is a hermie. Small bananas are coming out here and there. My biggest worry is that it could pollinate the other two "real" females.
I'm gonna try this: pluck out al the nanners (if I can.. I'm not sure to seek out all of them) and then spray both leaves and buds (am I right?) with water, just before light goes off.
Is it worth trying this in your opinion? Or should I harvest the hermie? Maybe I can use it to make some hash.. Or something else.. I don't know!

I would try to take the hermie out of the area then work on removing as much as you can - Tweezers work great.

I've just finished removing all the nanners I could find.. There were about 10.. It's NOT a problem for me to do this everyday!
Unfortunately I can't move the plant, because I don't have another growroom, another HPS and so on.. Do you think it's ok if I leave it in the growroom with the other two plants, removing male flowers daily? They don't produce pollen if they can't ripen, am I right?

P.s.
Tweezers work really great growMEDS! You're right!

I think you should be good if you don't see any more sacks.
Did you see any pollen at all?

Mine were actually dropping pollen while taking them off. :-(

No pollen at all. Actually there was nothing similar to "sacks" or "balls", just very little bananas, still very thin. But I could easily be wrong! This is my first try. Anyway I'm gonna try to leave the hermie in the growroom, checking daily if there's any male flower, and resist for a couple of weeks more. And if something goes wrong.. well.. Maybe I can get some good feminised seeds for the next grow.. Wish me luck! :smoke:

the little banana sacks are what had the pollen on mine - they looked whitish/yellow
I think I only saw one set of nuts - but not positive

sounds like you should be fine

Day 41

Hello!

I just added some new pics! My war against nanners seems to be going pretty well..

Do you think a couple of weeks more are enough?

Looking great blouh
2 more weeks atleast sounds about right when to cut nutes then water/flush till you see the trich colors you like
This is what I've found based on my research
