Kid Rock - All Summer Long

AS a sidenote, when this tune fisrt came out I had reservesions about the tune...Did I like it or Do I hate it for hacking a tune from my youth?

I mean, how dare this guy butcher a great tune????

BUt after a while, I kinda started to rock with it you know?

Now, I am down with it. Oh my...this epiphany is somewhat befuddling...am I learning to accept change for what it is or is the realization that there is nothing I can do to stop it (change)?

Man, ever since that fuckin' Kid Rock track came out I've been hearing it close to ten times a day at work on the radio. I've heard it literally hundreds of times by now. I hate the song so badly. I'm pretty sure I didn't like it from the beginning though because a guy like Kid Rock can't possibly do Lynyrd Skynyrd justice.

Anyways, back on topic.....

Been listening to alot of Steve Morse lately. Here's a pretty cool acoustic track performed with Rik Emmett. All and all a great tune but the solo section is the best part.

PS. ND, kewl track...it is in the watching and listening of talented guitarests that I feel the pain of Soliare(sp) felt in the presences of Mozart and his anger towards God....at least to some degree as I am blessed with the love of music but lack the talent or gift of playing.

As tot he Kid Rock thing....well, least I don't have to hear it 10 times a day.

I'm listening to the album titled FIGHTING. It was just before the JAILBREAK album and was a real good album. Great guitar harmonies. GaryMoore also has a tribute DVD concert TRIBUTE to PHIL LYNOTT. It features most of the guitar players that played in the band as it developed through time. It rocks and Gary Moore is a guitar monster. I highly recommend this.!!
