Haven't posted in a minute, got a gnar key logging virus from TPB on the new comp and wasn't about to sign in until it was safe. Fuck you AVG free, you get what you pay for i guess.

Here's a bit of what i got going on this year. Shanti's Mango x Widow...SSH clones should be ready for the ground in a few days. Much more excited about that...SSH is a true head ringer and the taste is excellent when done in organics, although i haven't finished out the mango in organics yet so we'll see.

The larger ones just got their first feeding and the others were put in the ground two weeks ago. They are fed homemade compost, composted horse + chicken manure, kelp, and will be flowered with Indonesian bat guano and molasses.

Wow, lots from FL woohoo.

I'm just started to read up and was hoping someone here could help me with a question. Everything I've read on temperatures says that you don't want to go above 85F (big issue for me since my place is hot). So how is everyone who is growing outdoors here able to manage with the FL summer heat? Are your plants just acclimatized or are there special strains I should maybe look into? Thanks!

OK so reading through this long thread I found this:

Outdoor heat really isn't a problem the way indoor heat is. Many strains grow in climates that are much warmer than ours. The bigger problems with outdoor grows are pests, pestilence, and poachers. As far as going with African strains, I think Durban is an early strain, so it wont veg in Florida once it is mature. That is a good way to go though if you want to veg indoors.

So I guess I will start looking for some heat-loving/tropical strains.

As far as which strains to get, as I said before, bag seed should do great in Florida if grown properly. If you want to keep a mom indoors and put out clones to have a harvest every month, then get a strain like TFD Early Durban because it can bloom even in June, July, and August. If you also want an indica to grow in the dry season, then get Northern Lights (people say that Joey Weed makes a good one) or get THSeeds Hog if you want something more stinky. I grew Hog myself and it was very stinky and a potent couch lock. Hog was easy to grow, but not as easy as THSeeds Original Bubble Gum, which was incredibly easy, had good potency, and a strong odor, but it wasn't as much of a couch lock, it was more of a hybrid.

SlowCala nah she is under 2 400s in a 4'x2'x38" {tunnel}crowded in the back corner and its my first time organic with my soil mix and was rushed to flower as soon as i could clone her this run i was fuckn around next i will get better results i normally run RSWC but had just got the ssh,bubba and sour d and wanted to try them bad and decided to try organic for the first time but next time my mix will be better


evlme2 thanks i hope she does she has 2 weeks left since i fukd up my mix ive just been given them enough food to stay alive so im hopen they have the max natrual flavor i can get

not that i dont like it i just gotta get better with it ill make the main choice after i harvest :wink: i want to get good at the organic cuz where im movin i have some nice OD spots and i would like to get to where i put somethin in the ground and only need water till harvest ya know
