XYZ: "build them up into a very dark leaf texture, which is later harder to flush than any other strain i was able to grow." I have never seen anybody says this, but I have seen it. Nice observation!

Very nice Rez and XYZ! Those plants look really great. I like to let my Blues (and all others for that matter) yellow like that for the last few weeks. What you lose in yield you more than make up for in flavor and burn quality...like I'm tellin' you guys anything :)
Beautiful photos!

Peace,
M

BTW Rez: are you using GH on that Blue? Not asking because of chem vs. organic or because of ability to flush because I know your herb burns and tastes clean using GH from previous threads and discussions which included photos of nice clean white ash coming from a dube rolled very early in the drying process. More just out of curiosity. Thanks man.

yes old Bb seeds from Dj... & thanks for the compliment :joint:

i believe you were already flushing, never said you are a bad grower, maybe just relatively new w/the original blue family. the unexpected thing in this lines is that they can take quite high levelz of nutes (as long as pH is 0k:) and build them up into a very dark leaf texture, which is later harder to flush than any other strain i was able to grow.

one more pic from the blueberry which was grown 2 yearz ago'
~0 nutes last 3 weekz... yield was a bit lower but taste - primo!

interesting, i find my DP Bb sativa-ish pheno can take some nutes and grows very vigorously (i grow organic) but getting the leaves to fade from green at the end is very hard.

REZ or XYZ, have you got any pics of yours in veg? looks very nice and similar to mine . Nearly all the pics i see of DP Bb are much more indica looking than mine.

Cool Rez. I'm going to have to give the GH line a try with soilless mix on the ECSD ibl, the Chemdog Bx1 and the SSH sometime. It's seams like I've gotten some really nice results going soilless with the Sour D and the SSH in particular. I've got a round of SSH coming down in the next few weeks that is soil grown, and although it is very nice, I think my last run of SSH using soiless mix and liquid nutes may have had an edge. We'll see how this new soil crop turns out after smoke tests.

M

Edit: I wanted to clarify that when I said the soilless had a slight edge I was refering mainly to the ease of growth and overall vigor through the flowering period.
