Best thing in the world happened to me yesterday out of something bad. Lost my microscope I have had for years. Went to wal-mart to pick up one because I am right near harvest time, and found the coolest little toy ever. I was a little baked, as I find that this is a great state to be in at Wal-Mart (i am a huge people watcher) and I found myself in the toy isle next to this little gem.

It is a Eye Clops Bionicam. It is a microscope capable of 400x, however 100x is the only usable magnification. It was 11 dam dollars. I thought it wouldn't work worth anything but I bring it home and this thing is the best. It even has a USB card to plug right into your computer. Following are pictures of it, the box, price tag and some trich pictures I took of my herb. It even has a S video port to plug into your TV, and can take movies. All is super quality.

These have been around for awhile, but thanks for reminding me that i need to go get one. That is also the best price I've seen, I think i'm going to walmart now.

I'll agree with everything but that. I find it an horribly designed, cheap assed, flimsy PITA that I despise every minute it's in my hands. Then I see the pictures and I'm in love.

I would never recommend it at the MSRP of $80. At the $27 I paid, I'm happy. $11? Damn, you jobbed us all! I'd recommend it to everyone at that price. Good find and thanks for sharing.

Per your question on my rep page (thank you very much) those are all Destroyer from CannaBioGen available through Seed Boutique The difference between the last shot /4 shot and the rest are that they're post harvest and the trichs have laid down. The other shots are "live" from the garden. Let's see a Radio Shack scope do that.

thank you all for your comments, like someone pointed out earlier in the thread, it has been around for years but i just found a great deal on mine and was amazingly surprised by the quality, hope you all find one, i'd check ebay as well

Maybe the store in which the OP bought it for $11 has a huge surplus left from last Christmas that the parent company won't take back. I don't know anything about how Walmart's distribution networks go.

I just got mine a few days ago. It's handheld so it's kinda hard to focus. I had an old microphone boomstand lying around and I duct taped my bionicam to the boomstand to help steady it. It greatly improved the picture quality. Even so, I shoot two or three blurry pics for every good one. But the good ones... boy oh boy!

I didn't think to look for one at walmart. I found it online for $36 (shipping included.) Here are some shots from this afternoon:
