Trichoderma or Powdery Mildew?

First time grower seeded 2 weeks ago, until everything was above the soil i kept everything under a humidity dome and humidity at 80-95%. Once above the soil I got rid of the humidity dome and added fans to keep humidity around 60% and temperatures in the mid-70's.
I'm growing in Coco cups holding Pro-Mix seed starter with perlite added to bring it up to about 20% of volume.
The cups all sit on a watering mat in a watering tray. I add about 4 cups of water per day, the lights are on 24 hours and I monitor the temperature and humidity all day.

What is this white stuff growing on the side of my cups?

wow, first off stop watering everyday it needs to dry out a little. dont water again until they almost completly dry out. and secondly you need to get those roots out of the light, it creates alge. if there bagseed you may just want to start over and buy some potting containers preferably black and not translucent. and that is a terribly small plant for 2 weeks old with a huge root system, the plant should be 3x that size in two week period. hey you live you learn...good luck

the roots are not in the light, theres no way they have roots long enough to get to the edge of those cups yet.
The plant you can see green on there is a diesel rider that sprouted maybe 3 or 4 days ago. my oldest was planted 11 days ago and is about 5 inches with its third set of leaves coming in.
I'll let them dry out, and post some more pics showing the rest.

Here are the tops of the plants.

Pic. 4 is of my Island Sweet Skunk x Blueberry Skunk
Pic. 5 is of my Diesl Rider and BlueStreak and Royale Blue

The Island Sweet Skunk started sprouting in 2 days and finished after 4 more days, the Diesel Rider, BlueStreak, and Royale Blue started sprouting at about day 5 and I still have some coming over from the humidity dome.

One type of pro mix comes with beneficial fungi in it. If it is fungi that will network into the soil and help the roots. It makes the roots stronger anchoring into a network of mycelium which are the equivalent to roots for mushrooms. If it changes color from that vibrant white it's prob not mycelium. Trichoderma which is a mushroom growers worst dream is actually beneficial for mj. At least thats what I have read before. Supposed to help encourage root developement. They look fine to me although I would stop watering everyday. I use regular pro mix and only water every other day. One thing about pro mix is it is made of coco coir, peat, and perilite which means it can hold a ton of water more so than soil. Good luck

hey you ruin another thread and still dont learn  pretty self absorbed their buddy, those are not roots LOL blatant statement, two algea is beneficial buddy and many people grow with clear pots with no side effects! and lets just start over because of dbfresh's unrealistic idea, he seeded them 2 weeks ago, its not 2 weeks old, he put the seed *read* ungerminated into the soil, and u cant really see roots, did he ask on your terrible advice on how NOT to grow a plant? But hey, atleast you try, with your shoplight idea and getting 4x the lumens stated by manufacture by placing the light closer to the plants LOL

To the OP powdery mildew generally effects leaves, stems, and buds, not soil mediums, ive seen it happen in miracle grow before, without any detrimental effects, id only really care if it was killin my plants, then id use h202 to kill any bacteria

So nothing to worry about then here?

BTW, these plants sit about 6" beneath 6 54w 4ft sunmaster bulbs. The temps are mid-high 70's and i've got a blanket over the whole thing to keep the light in until I finish my room. I've got two 90cfm fans on either end for intake/exhaust over the lights and to get a little bit of movement from the plants. They go bone dry in about 36 hours so I try to water them every 24.
Another week and I'll have a proper cabinet built for them but for now this is what I've got.

i vote for trich. but from the coco cups themselves.
most coco coir i've come across was loaded with it. had to always pasteurize it before using it in mushroom casing.

edit:
what should you do about it? nothing much else from what's already said like maybe water less. if you really want it gone, dilute some H2O2 in water and dab away at the colonized areas with qtips or use a spray bottle.
