Looking really good! Your Jack lools very Sativa.

The trick to a good scrog is keeping everthing under the screen until she gives up and starts popping buds.

Thanks for the kind words fellas!

Do you guys think I should switch to the red spectum CFLs now or wait a little longer? Whats best to reduce stetch? I've been searching for this answer to no avail.

Leave the blue bulbs in there until the stretching stops and they go into full flower. Then shift to mostly the warmer bulbs but leave 1 or 2 blues in there during flowering to keep a full spectrum. Keeping some blue light in there helps keep stretch down.

Your scrog looks good, that screen will fill out nicely.

No doubt that's a haze dominate hybrid if I've ever seen one, I hope she don't go 14-16 weeks on ya!

Looking excellent so far brotha...will you have the head room?

Lookin' hot, for sure. I love the candycane stripes...I have two plants going now that have a similar marking (both Nirvana Bubblicious clones). I'll try and get it in one of my next pics.

Yeah I'm hoping the same thing.

I got a 4 inch tall wire basket the that the container is sitting on. I'll remove it once stop tucking the buds under and let them grow vertical, but that won't happen until I'm for sure that it's stopped stretching....which could be never.

Cool man, are you're going to have any purple colors in the bud? I'm wondering if mine might cause of the purpling on the stems.

Lookin' nice bro! I think you made the right choice in flipping to 12/12. I think you might end up with space management issues as it is.

Very very very very very sativa-y, love it!

Hey coze I had that purple candy cane effect on my shivas too. Mine mostly faded with time and didn't lead to purple buds though. Still, ya never know.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! I'm not going to have problems keeping that bitch tamed - I got some tricks up my sleeve. :D All I can really hope for is that this strain performs well, but I'm just along for the ride.

I wish I would have named this thread "Compact ScrOG with CFLs" - a twist on the old classic by Dr.Bud. I believe that what I'm doing is very close, just a different method to achieve the sea of green effect. Lets just see if I can get close to his g/w results...

I'm not sure, I suppose we'll see. So far no purpling, just the candy-stripes in the stems.

you can have the management change your thread title if you wish
is it my imagination or could you squeeze more plants in there?
one just doesn't seem enuf for that much space...
how about a shot of your lock? does anyone try to get inside?

I was thinking about it, and because the origins of this strain is a complete mystery to me, I cannot claim that this is a Jack Herer. It looks too sativa to me. So I've decided to call it Jack Hazzer. Hopefully it does have a lot of Jack Herer genes, cause I'm looking forward to those heavy indica-like nugs with a sativa high!

Thats exactly the same boat I'm in. popped 2 seeds from some bagseed of jack herer that I have been buying for awhile, but when they were growing, didnt look anything like the other jack herers ive seen, i must have 2 pheno's, one nice dense indica and a more equal hybrid. took 2 clones off each before I sent them off to flower. the clones have thinner leaves kinda like yours, but my seed plants have wide leaves.
anyway, good luck with your grow. i definently enjoyed jack herer while i could get it. awesome lookin plant bro.

No one has tried to open it, but I had a friend over the weekend and he knows I used to grow but doesn't know I'm growing now, and he says, "Hey whats in that locked cabinet?" So I guess it's a little obvious. I'll have to work on not making the lock so visible.
