A Good Late/Short Season Variety

I grew GH Great white shark both indoors and out now, and this would make one of the best late season plants ive come accross in some time. It would be an excellent choice for growers that havent gotten started yet

Due to the plants extreme vigor and growth rate, seeds started today or as late as mid july should finish out by the beginning of Oct at 5-6' with 8oz's or more of smoke. Most late starters don't fair so well.

Ive provided more outdoor growing info about the plant in the GH vendors section.

What region are u in? I was planning on starting a few hundred bag seed today through Sunday. Would they have enough time to veg and put off a little weight? 4-10g's/ea?? I know where im at, there is noway to pull 8 z's a plant this late in the year..

Thats unfortunate THC123. Pruning to reduce the tendency to grow long thick cola's can go a long way towards turning donkey dicks into golf balls and thats always helpful. She's big and branchy enough that with a little topiary, some branches can be cut off and the plant stretched out and opened up so as to facilitate air flow. A combination of stretching and pruning can really improve mould resistance. The strain is fairly resistant up until about 8 weeks, but the last couple are touchy.

I don't think this is discussed here often enough THC, but its been my long held belief that plants such as WS that naturally have a huge yeild and huge buds can, with proper pruning and training be made quite resistant and produce 12 oz's or so in the worst enviroment. Whereas your typical good or moderate yielding cannabis plant that might produce up to a pound under optimum conditions is reduced to insignificance once 1/2 of the plant has cut away in an effort to trim and train mould resistance.

Im 38 ish in the appalachians GF. WS is one fast grower. My buddy planted 2 plants last year on July 10 and when he cut them on Oct 5, they were just over 6' and yeilded 10 oz's of smoke.

Could give it a greenhouse try ,

Bout the pruning , yeah here it is necessary , donkeydicks are no use here. So i always go for more but smaller.

Have you ever tried WW outdoors?

I based my above comment on the fact that ww is a pain in the ass here outdoors , and i thought the 2 where quite similar.

But if ww is also difficult around your parts and the ws isnt' than it could be intersting , i love white strains/indicas

grtz
