This does not make any sense any a/c recirculates air that is why it is called air conditioner it conditions the air in the room.

What is your problem and what size a/c do you have are you air cooling hoods?

do you have hoods or just bulbs?

yes..... although its not very efficient... best thing to do would be to exhaust the least amount of cfm as possible but still allowing for a healthy air exchange....

Hey just make sure you do have a run off for the condensed H20 and for the hot air exchange from the AC, as well as a room exhaust as well, if any of this makes sense? Good luck.

t baggins is correct i used to do this very thing before going sealed. your a/c will run constantly, but it will help to cool your room. think of it as another intake that happens to always blow cold air.

Just get a timer for your exhaust so you get fresh co2 every 10 minutes while still maintaining proper temps?

Hello all,

In order for the AC to work it has to have a seperation between the cold air side and the hot air side...that is why they go in windows.

You will have to make a box to put the ac in that isolates the hot from the cold sides. In addition, you must have air circulation with the outside air for the hot side in order to get a temperature gradiant--the greater the gradiant, the more efficient the unit becomes.

Check this out...just a quick google and viola.

Also, there are threads in here in the diy section about this.

Good luck.
