nice little garden ya got huey. they look like theyre flowering to me also

get yourself some proper sized pots though bro, if you want big girls you gotta give them room to anchor themselves. smart pots are good above ground solutions

Plants looking fantastic:) Are you gonna repot again? You probably should because those babies look like they want to become monsters...

H

Habibi, what would be proper sized?

And I am planning on having at least a few girls in 10 gal pots. I'm not sure if i'll be able to transplant any of these 5-gal buckets to 10 gal though, unless anyone has any tips (I should have thought about that before putting them in the buckets, but oh well).

Hey huey, lookin healthy, they are...I'd go at least 30 gallons, they'll luv you for it! Especially the J1 and blue dream cross, those'll wanna get huge :) Got mine in 300 gals but still not like being in-ground.

And you might have to cut the buckets to transplant with a utility knife being careful not to slice roots. Having a friend helps. Good luck!

Wow, absolutely beautiful plants. I really like the Pine Mist...great structure and a deeep green.

While I would love to do some 30 gal ladies, there's a couple problems that arise. First, I don't have enough soil, while yes I could get more, that means more money...but we'll see the season is still young. Second, I don't necessarily have the space in my backyard. Currently, to get the most sun, the plants have to be on the side, and the side yard is small. We'll see though..

100_2353.jpg

Pine Mist...it looks like she might be flowering...which I'm not really sure why. Also a little droopy, but she's fine.
100_2348.jpg

100_2349.jpg

Lavender. Nice healthy strong branches. ~1.5 foot
100_2350.jpg

Mexican ~1.5 foot
100_2345.jpg

Clones.. 5 appear to be flowering...
100_2354.jpg

Blue Dream x Skunk, I transplanted these into the 2 gal pots yesterday. These do not appear to be flowering.
100_2360.jpg

Socal Master....this one is not flowering. Her "sister" (aka the one who isn't socal..) appears to be flowering..
100_2358.jpg

J1's...flowering?... :(
100_2359.jpg

Urkles..also looks to be flowering..

I'll give these ladies another week...if they dont show any signs of not flowering...then they'll be trashed.

So all clones except for the Socal Master are flowering. Along with the Pine Mist flowering. The Mexican and Lavender are fine, and thus I'm going to attempt to air layer clone a branch from each one. I also picked up 2-MTF and 2-OC Bubba's today. No picture of those yet.

nice work!

im working on getting my ladies outdoors right now (late i know, its been a pita trying to find the right house to rent) i was told they would go straight into flower if i did - or i could continue my veg indoors until i wanted them to initiate flowering and then take them out. same person told me that i could start outside from seed now and they would be fine too. i dunno. anyways, my question for you is- what are your plans to control the smell on those girls? the side yard especially.

Huey69

Hey Localhero,
If youre clones are rooted under 24/0, then I'd venture to say they would flower if put out. If they were on 18/6 though, they should be fine. For the clones I picked up 2 days ago, I went ahead and set up a light outside for at night and so that I can gradually bring them down to 15/9 over the next 10 days or so. If you started from seed, you should have no problem though (i started my seed plants in April, and they are fine except for hte Pine mist which must be autoflowering).

This is my rather poorly setup rig, but it works. The light is held onto a shelf which is propped up against the bbq and then tied on either side to something so it wont fall. The trash can's are around to help block some light at night.

As far as the smell goes, I'm not really worried. Last season I had no problem with it, and my dad has grown here for 2 seasons previous to that. Everyone keeps to themselves in my nieghborhood.

Just an update...

100_2461.jpg

Lavender, and the branch on her that I'm attempting to air layer (I'm also trying to air layer a branch on the Mexican). She is also about 2ft x 2 ft. A bit more bushier then the Mexican...

100_2455.jpg

100_2463.jpg

100_2468.jpg

Pine Mist. She's starting to get fat. I have a feeling she's going to be a bitch to trim though...
100_2459.jpg

MTF and OC Bubba. The MTF looks a little beat up, but she should look good in a week or two. The Bubba is already vegging nicely.
100_2444.jpg

One set of clones. Purple Urkle, J1, and 2-Blue dream x skunk
100_2457.jpg

BDS, Socal Master (only plant to not flower, although it's confused haha), Urkel

Whats supposed to be Socal master but isn't (I'll eventually figure it out, there were only so many cuts at that time)

If any body has any tips on pruning, thinning, or anything, please chime in.

Another good sized update...
100_2502.jpg

Lavender transplanted into a 20 gal, this was done on Friday. Pine Mist to the side, and Mexican behind it.

Mexican, transplanted into a 10 gal pot also done friday. It looks like she is an early flower-er, that or she was rootbound before I tranplanted...but she didn't seem stressed before.

The branch on the Lavender that I air-layered has finally rooted :)

I don't think the rooting hormone I used it any good any longer, hence why it took a while...

I went ahead and transplanted the air-layered branch from the lavender. Now I have a lovely 10" clone :)

It's amazing how fast the roots took off once they established...
