no leave the big fan leaf, its a food store for the plant. it will go yellow and die when it doesnt want it anymore.

your lst should end up working out as the shoots closest to the bulb will catch up in height with the main top soon. but i would have tied it down another couple of centimetres lower.

when are you going to flower it? it will double in height easily when you do! and you should really add more powerfull bulbs, like at least one 42w or two 42w. but you could wait untill it shows sex before buying them, no point wasting stuff if it turns out male. and low light will slow its upward growth in the stretching stage.

yeah it all comes down to finances.. Im disabled so the only money i really get is donating plasma. which only pays $55 a week, and im a smoker so it supports my habit ( ciggs and weed lol ) Yeah the string is just wrapped around that stud on the left.. i can make it go lower by adding another loop on the stud.

If there's any ventilation in there, I'd try to scrounge $10 and get a couple of 27w bulbs. You'll get a lot better light penetration with two bulbs and each bulb will pretty much double your current light output. The end result is that it'll cost you a little now, but should reward you with a larger harvest in a couple of months.

(If the result was only one extra gram, that'd still save you $20.)

Just a thought.

flat white is your friend. Or go and buy an emergency blanket from a sporting goods store. line you walls with it and it will help reflect ~90% light.

Sorry to hear about your situation man. but GL with the grow and peace go with you!

Im a bit worried. First, the two tiny circular leaves dried up and dropped off. Today one of the first fan leaves ( 3 leaves not the 5-7 ones ) basically just fell right off. here is a picture.

Is something wrong or is that normal?

Also noticed... looks almost like a slug trail, that goes around the inside of the pot right at the lip. has been doing that for a few days. plant still smells potent though

The plant is going to right itself every time you bend it. If you bend it over 90 degrees and wait a few days, the new growth is going to grow UP. If you are trying to flower right now without doing anything, your bud is going to grow up into the ceiling of your cab... you're gonna have to do SOMETHING.

LST would've saved you a lot of trouble. Still not too late to do some tying down. You'll just need to do it in such a way that the plant can't pull the stakes out or whatever.

I'm speaking from recent experience here! My cab has 23" of vertical space and all thirteen of my plants had to be trained (and retrained, and retrained, and retrained, almost daily) because I didn't LST. What I ended up having to do was to use twine to tie the plants. Look at this pic below:

That's one plant. The part to the right? That's the top cola. It was bent over several weeks into the shape you see now. LST would've been WAAAAAAAY easier. Trust me.

Yeah unfortunately the stem near the soil decided to crack a little. didnt split mind you, but its still healthy. i tied it upright so the tear couldnt pull itself more with the weight of the plant. seems to be doing fine now.

what's with people "breaking" the stem under the main cola and leaving it to flop over?

would that apply here or am i totally wrong in reading/seeing that somewhere?
