Oh i see soz mate a slight oversight on my part.
Yes i agree draining them pots completely is a ball ache, i thought about raising them up and drill my drainage hole in the base maybe one day i will.

Yes oxy pots are basically a DWC bucket already drilled, you get a net pot, hydroton, air infusion pump all in on kit for £25 which is great value as the infusion pumps are £19 alone, i tweaked mine by adding drippers.

Yes thats the easiest way i will at some point by a wet vac my friend uses one to get the last dregs out of the system and they are cheap too.

yeah i am getting the the same level but that is a battle in itself. So i am keeping on top of it for sure. dont want any burnt buds either from the light. I am glad i added the extra fan blowing on the hood. i think if i didnt have that i would of already of burnt the tops. I am also using silica blast i dont know if that has anything to do with it but it sure isnt hurting.

Well your doin the right thing mate, what could be perceived as overkill could save your arse when the going gets tough.
I'm really gonna look further into silica as i am keen to use some too and it helps several different factors too which is always good in my opinion

I am still battling the stretch war..... they are getting pulled down everyday they get taller. Damn SATIVA..... I have to remind myself never to grow out any sativas any more... lol.....
I think i am going to just stick with the indica they stay way shorter. man the tops so far have so many white hairs on top. you have to imagine that my tops of my plants are like 6 inches away and no heat stress or burning going on. I dont know what i am doing but what ever it is i am doing it right.

You can grow then again and i bet you don't make the same mistakes, it's what it's all about with the growing.

I can really imagine that they are maturing faster than the rest, at least you can sample ahead of the rest, maybe find the optimum time to pull the rest thats catching up.

It's true though you sure have something good going on being that close with no burn!

Hey GG,
I too have the ceiling restriction...cab is 2.5x2.5x4.8...so bending over the tops is a necessary evil...but you will find that the plant(s) will grow just fine and that will be your new "height"...
Things look good from what I can see...

whats up Treetops.. been awhile.... height restrictions suck ass but we have to work around them. as i have to everyday. this morning when i check i had a top almost touching the light so i am going to have to do some more creative stringing. if you know what i mean. Its going to look like a whole net of string in there soon.

Narutonut.... man they have stretched i will i could show how much you guys would be amazed. I am for what they are. never had to deal with that much stretch. fuck it i will just keep using the string to my advantage and hope all is well. I think i am going to have to check early on when the lights first come on so i can see if any are close to the light. i waited till this morning and i almost lost a top. i bent it down just in time and it will be fine. i am going to have to adjust my ph today i added like 10 gallons of fresh water over the last 2 days put in nutes this morning and now i will check the ph when the light comes on.

So i went in to tend to my babies and i noticed the fan i had blowing on the light was to low now so i had to move it up so that way it is blowing on the hood. everything looks good except that i have a couple of leaves on the top getting light bleached i dont know if this will effect any thing or not. i am hoping not.

Ok so it has been a couple of days since my last post. and i have to say it has been a couple of days without looking in on them. I went in this morning and i found that one of my plants that i had to bend the shit out of has fallen through the lid. so now i have to deal with bending over and falling through the lid of the bucket. So of course my fan leaves are getting bleached from the light being to close but i cant do anything about it.To late for that. I will take photos in a couple of days. I am just about 30 days in now.

right on hydro farmer. i am sure i am going to have to deal with that the rest of the grow. i had to fish out hydrotron balls out of my res as well from the net pot falling in. I hope my pinch and bends work out for me. and i dont stress them out to much.

I think you will be cool..I have been stalking your thread and on your next run you might want to try "supercropping". I did this with my 3 PPP girls in my sig and I am only running a 1K...I have bud sites swelling in spots that I would have never seen before by doing this..also as a precaution for the netpots falling back in...try taking a wire coat hanger and cutting a piece long enuff to push through the netpot just under the rim...maybe 2 or 3 rows down..and let it rest across the top of your bucket...damn near impossible for them to fall thru again..which will probably happen as the plant gains more weight...

They are starting to pack on the crystals. i will have to take some photos later so you all can see the pinch and bend to get them away from the light. lol....... shitty but there was nothing else i could do.
