Male preflower? 90% sure, just want to get 2nd opinion before I chop...

So space is limited, along with time, otherwise I'd just let it play out, but I'm 90% sure this is a male...

Just need confirmation.

For me it's those two hairs/fibers that cross that seem to give it away for me. Though they aren't quite crossing in this one, from what I usually see, the females tend to be more oblong/oval, and lack these "fiber things" (minus the telltale hairs of course)...

I think you should wait until you are positive... rather than possibly choppin a perfectly good plant, But thats just my

I bet if you set it in a dark closet and come back in 24hrs you'll gain an extra 10% certainty.

if your bored and have a greenbelt near you - take it to the green belt and leave it somewhere that kinda looks like you were planning on growing it.


It's be gone soon - and somebody will learn a new lesson maybe how to grow - maybe about males.

On the other side- the days will be getting shorter - you could clone the top - 3 weeks you have a 6 inch tall male and the days will be getting shorter - good chance for viable pollen.

In all likelihood, male. But wait for a few days and see if the classic multiple "ball" structure forms. Unless it's an absolute freak, the preflower won't drop pollen for at least that long.

If not to late, wait or try the 24 dark thing.. Never hurts

I mean, I'm not worried about pollen, I'm still in 18/6, I just dropped from 24/0 (was lazy with the light sealing...) yesterday. I'm just wanting to dump it and get a smaller plant transplanted into his pot, once he's a he. But yeah, given what I've seen before, I'm pretty damn sure.

Guess I could wait.

I remember sexing a bunch of plants, and it's those hairs/fibers that cradle the ball/nub that always give it away. I've never seen a female plant that had preflowers with those.

There are times where I wasn't sure if it was a female, sometimes you just have to wait. Typically I can tell by the shape of a preflower.

I never had a fasle ID of a female that was a male.

well, it's dead...

alot of drama for one plant hehe...

last grow I killed off tons of them, grew out alot of seedlings (check my gallery).

Anyways, we've got probably 4-5 likely females, along with a few fem'd ones.

That's not counting the other plants that are too young to show, MOD dream goddess, hmmm.
