i have recently decided to run cfl's on my clones and mother plants. they seem to work well. i recently upgraded to a 400w hps. cant wait to see what my plants do when i take the 250w out and stick that 400w in there

Ok so i did a little bit of trimming last night, little being the operative word and took 4 more clones from what i trimmed off.
They may or may not work but i'm not too sad if they don't, i just couldn't hack them down and dump them lol.

I'm going over to my vegging house in a bit to check on my other family, what i really wanna see is my UK Cheese clones hopefully showing some explosive growth but we will see. and hopefully my shitty Tree of Life seeds will have sprouted if not then Pukka/Doggies nuts are just bandits!!

Thats the ticket Cracker420 i have not looked back since getting separate tents for veg and mothers 3 tents is a lot of outlay and time but well worth it in the long run

Yeah i know that feeling too, i have books dvds magazines and of course forums they all have given me a wealth of knowledge but the best is growing nothing beats it, fair enough we have problems along the way but thats what i signed up for.

Well i'm keeping my mothers in soil for me thats way more simple than a mother in hydro but i guess the next person will say different, find something that suits your needs though. (i still say soil!!)

Cool coco is something i'd like to dabble with at some point just need to get more of a grasp on it though, is it similar to soil for feeding or more like hydro? (as in feeding)

i would so much love to have a couple of mom plants. but for me i just dont have the room. see i am kinda stuck between a rock and a hard spot. I will have to get my clones from somewhere else and bring them to my spot. but if i had the space i sure would have them going before i needed them i would be vegging them soon so i had them ready to go.

Yes that was the same factor for me space! My tent takes up all my room, my veg and mothers are up the road my plan is to veg them for 3 weeks then move them to my flower tent then veg 2 more weeks and train at the same time.
My main hurdle is transporting them 2 miles in my car.

when i got my plants i had to drive 70 miles with them... thats the main reason i decided to make a small tent setup to keep a few moms in. i have taken 4 clones off each plant, so im going to do test them out and see which strains i like and try to narrow it down to 2 mother plants. right now i have 2-juicyfruits, 1-bubblegum, and 1-mystery white. so far i am loving the juicyfruit so i am prolly gonna keep a mother of that on for sure. so i will have to see how the bubblegum and mystery white are

Why don't you just have your moms as house plants? That is what I wish I could do. But if I can't make room for them in my cabinet, i will put them under the bathroom sink. I would just put them in my bedroom but my kids always seem to come in there.

Cracker420- That is a journey mate!! Yeah i will mother whichever BB turns out the best as my tent will only hold 4 pots but thats ample for me.

Asil- Hey man! Yes i thought about it but the BB's stink and then there is my 3 year old who will just mess with them like crazy.

I hear you standaman.... i have to transport clones a couple of miles as well. kinda sucks but you know how it goes. just a small price to pay to have some good smoke.....

Just a lil update for the crew


GG how do you transport your babies? I'm trying to think of a minimal stress way of moving them

jus my 2 cents on you ventilation problem, if you still have one. I have a closet grow going with 5 babies in a 18 gal tub filled with 12 gallons of nutes. I only use 3 pc fans stacked together, I put them in the ceiling, using some pvc piecies and a roofing vent cover to attach it to the ceiling. my point is that I have not had any problems with odors at all, with running non stop. very inexpencive to do and very easy. I also put a 3 ft vent shaft on top of the fans to push the odor further into the attic, absolutely no smells with this setup. I hope this is useful to you, good luck man.

Hey Deviant1- Thanks for the pass by mate, well i was having temp problems but i started to run my cycle on the night and since then all is good.

So when you say your pushing the odours to your attic, are you using a carbon filter?
