The noise created by aero sprayers is too much for my friends current situation, yet they'd rather not scrap their EZ-clone 120 if they can help it.
They were thinking of possibly grabbing a cool mist humidifier, plumbing the humidifiers output into the Ez-clone, then using the drain on the Ez-clone reservoir to return water to the humidifiers own reservoir. Maybe a heat mat underneath the Ez-clone too, if necessary. They have no idea if this would be effective or not, but they're thinking it has potential.
If the above is not an option, then they may look further into those foggers some of the TAG guys have referenced in the past. They're not familiar enough with them to know if they'll be quieter or what they require to operate, but they do recall a few of the drawbacks mentioned by those who attempted full grows with them in the past (ie: salt buildup clogging them, small puffy root systems, etc) and they don't see those issues as being problematic in a cloner situation running straight h20.
Anyone have any thoughts? They suck at life when it comes to peat pucks, rockwool, trays and domes, so they would like to explore their options.
