Small light mistake

Hey whats up with everyone here at IC. This is my first post here and I am relatively new to growing (first few were unsuccesful...long story), anyways I currently have my first grow which actually seems to be lookin' pretty good:woohoo: Well my question is will 30 minutes extra of light affect my plants which are in 12/12 ? This has only happened once which was today, & I was wondering if my little mistake is anything to be concerned about. Blaze it:joint:

No, I just accidently hit a button on my timer causing it to stay on & when I came back to check up on them I noticed that the light was on for 30 minutes extra so I immediately fixed the problem & turned the lights off. But this being what seems to be looking like my first successful run at this had me a bit concerned. Now is definitely not the time for mistakes.:canabis:

Yeah, I usually have 2-4 occasions without proper light schedule per grow, this is usually neighbours or inlaws coming round and having to switch the closet off or the girlfriend accidently switching it off at the plug during the day, screwing the timer up..

Never had any problems with these, I just think of it like a plant in the wild with a full moon, or lighninig or car headlamps on it. It's not regular enough to mess with the plants internal clock.

Cool I'm glad you guys responded. I ain't sweating it anymore. Today since they got 30 minutes extra of light last night, I gave them 30 minutes extra of darkness just for safe measures.

I was also wondering if a light less intense than hps affect them. In other words if for example I take my plants away from that light to any household bulb lights and I spend a few minutes caring for them under that light, then put them back under the hps. Does this if it happens often, affect them in any way. Sometimes I need to check them & my grow space is pretty full. I need to move a couple away from the hps lights sometimes, but I won't until the lights are about to go off because of me not wanting to mess up the lighting schedule. Any good help is appreciated.:headbange
