Niceee plants man.
Not that long these days because I already know how much pH down I need to use with my specific tap water and nute regime, so I can usually get it perfect right off the bat. But I'll let it mix anywhere from a couple hours up to a day, then check the pH on it and adjust more if necessary, let that sit and mix, retest, etc.
Every brand of nutes is different and will have varying levels of buffering ability, so if I'm using nutes or tap water that I don't have experience with, I lean toward letting it mix longer. For MY tap water (190ppm, 7.8 pH) and GH 3-part lucas formula, adding about 1 ml/gal of GH's pH-Down puts me right at pH 6.
Also switched out the 150 HPS with 6x 23 watt DAYLIGHT fluoros due to tempt being in mid/hi 80's. Now my temps at 81.4 F
Have on order a portable air conditioner so I could put back the 150 HPS.
just from what Ive read...but I wouldn't do ALL daylight bulbs...here is what ive found here...and seems to work well.
Vegging:
3:1 Ratio
3 - Blue (5000 Kelvin +)
1 - Red (2700 Kelvin -)
Flowering:
2:1 Ratio
2 - Blue (5000 Kelvin +)

nice cab! i run the same exact one, i used 1/4" plywood on the back to give it a little more rigidity.
i also run the same bulb, 400w...
i'm also a desert rat.... i love our weather. humidity sucks!
i'm only a few days ahead of you in flower too. about 12 days apart.
you ever looked into coco? i'm on my first run with it and would never go back to hydro(5yrs dwc&drip) for many reasons. main reason is that i check the ph one time a week when i make nutes with coco. just a little slower growth than hydro but it's no slouch, environment is usually the weakest link in growth rate anyways. temps are not a factor when growing in coco, at least with what i have seen. back in my hydro days i hated checking the ph, temp, ec, water level, topping off, REZ CHANGES, ect... in coco i just water them once a day, can't over water and thats it.
check out my thread, the proof is in the pudding.

Funny you ask about the coco, just put a new mom into coco and I'm going to try it on the next round. Read alot of journals of guys using it, I'll check yours too. I know I can't run DWC mid summer without a chiller, and hear good things about coco, so it's time to find out. I want to run drip to waste I think, still trying to scheme up a big tray to hold the pots that my overflow will run into and drain from.
