Here is one of the greatest most remixed classics ever! I will never forget the first tome I heard this one. I was at the only massive party ever thrown in Oklahoma. Me and about 25,000 people all had our jaws drop, and our heads bob to this one at the same time. I was surronded by some BAD Company!! The best break down ever!!

I was thinking about the good old days after reading this thread, and remembered that when the DIY crew came over the first time they had some dank none of us had ever seen. They kept talking about the cheese, and none of knew what the hell they were talking about until they busted it out. Then we understood! That was either 99 or 00. It was some fire, but we had a lot of fire around then too. Now it is hard to get true well grown smoke here. Most of it is greedy premature fert filled non cured smoke. We had a yearly get together called Earth in our area. It was always a full weekend, in the country and the most "free" of all our gatherings. The DIY crew came two years straight. They had a girl that came with them, and spin a sunrise set. I cannot remember her name, her set was my favorite of all. Very groovy deep deep house. Normally I am not too into house music, but she was awesome. I always wished I would have made it to the UK for one of your outdoor parties to see the dhow the vibe differs. I am sure it would be a lot the same.

My favorite memory of any of those days was a party called airport that ed rush and rhyme time came to. A couple buddies, and I were standing behind the stage ripping on a big sherlock full of Herer, and looked up an Ed rush And RT were now standing in our circle. We smoked a couple bowls, and then they went on. It was great set, but I would have rather seen another live p.a. like ed and optical did the year before. They got off stage, and we all proceded to get schnokered. I remeber Ed laughing at how we talk, and us wondering what the fuck he was saying. He sounded a lot like Brad Pitts role in snatch to us. Needless to say we had a great time, but communication was a bit limited towards mornin!

BIG UP RKF and LD ...not forgetting English...catching nuff joke bruv!! i was raving from tasco warehouse, lazerdrome, vaders peckham dayz, fitness club clink st southwark,ministry when it was ministry awol,labrythn,dalston,roller express etc etc...and still now ....cant say too much but went on metalheadz tour to gratz austria with a few of the manz them..wont mention names!! we like a bit of green as well hehe...bad co were fukin heavy always bump into them at cutting house for dubs at hollaway...but I only see a few peeps now...due to the fact that everyone is on aim etc etc..last went out with klute, invaderz, bailey..also bumped into alot of old faces at kemistrys remembrance.. I was there in the ltj bukem speed days blue note hoxton sq, swerve,end etc etc feeling the whole marcus,instra:mntl,d-bridge,aliz perez stuff at the moment.. list is endless...to be honest i gone of the hard hard stuff after dillinja,ed & opt,ram killed the life out of it but still aprecaite it love it all to be honest depends what mood im in lol....fuk me memories are flooding back ...anyone remember adam f live at heaven!! bad...metroplis, circles rinse for 30 mins conitnuesly live !! I got loads of bits on my harddrive that ive produced that hasnt gone anywhere to be honest...just my little get away when stoned!...running krk speakers,ableton,cubase,recycle,soundforge,tons of plugins via pc ,M-Audio ProjectMix I/O Control Surface with Motorized Faders, m-audio oxygen keyboard. I used to have tons of outboard and midi kit...started of with akai 950, then 3000xl then migrated to emu afew synths jp8000,dx7 (first keyboard) use to run oxtymed and cubase on atari...phew ....to name a few...those were the days...being married with copious amounts of kids has made having a big studio a NO NO now...but i got a Kam studio desk with a few little bits as mentioned to keep me happy...love to see ya set ups...i get the feeling LD got a phat studio lol

I know the Uk got away from the hard stuff after a bit, but for some reason it really stuck to the US. I think it has something to do with heavy metal. Most of the peeps that are into dnb over here liked metal at some point. The darkness is what binds us. I do like some more upbeat dnb, and LTJ does put on one hell of a show. After a bit of it I need something a little more EVIL.

One of my buddies from over here got signed to renegade hardware, but I have not heard from in a bit. He pumped out some good tunes, but I think he was a bit to late coming out. He went by Nightstalker. Then we have another local producer who has done work for Hybrid, and has been on some of Sashas mixes. His name is Stephan Anon. He has some of the best producing skills I have ever seen.

We got a hold of a video made back in the early days of the Blue note. What a kick ass place that seemed to be. A lot of the guys are people you all have met, but most of them are worlds away to us. Dillinja changed his styles a lot, but I still like him. I know it is one of his biggest tunes, but valve sound was a dope ass track. I love the chick that sings on it.

It has been great Talkin wit ya John and everybody. John when i get to 50 posts I may hit you via pm for a couple mix sets if ya got any laying around. Nice plants as well bro!
