Many guys don't recomend LST a plant in a 12/12 from seed. I lost all my indicas beans trying a grow in a PC. So my last seed was a very sativa Thai, 14 weeks of flowering. She is almost 4 weeks old. Growing a super sativa in a PC is almost impossible. So I'm using LST and she is doing very well. If I used organic recipe maybe I didn't need the use of LST. But I'm growing in coco. Hydroponics they grow more.

So I see no problems to LST or SCROG a plant in 12/12 from seed. Now if you have much space to grow I don't recomend LST.

meaning none the less that these methods are not worth the time ??? i dunno ive looked at quite a few of these operations these cab grows computer case grows this n that lol this is were a conventional room appeals to me i can run really big yielding operations and i can run small time just enough smoke for me pretty much in a small cabinet you dont have the option of goin big if the situation pressed it :) and ill guarantee my families gonna eat :) come hell or high water

Question to all 12/12 from seed growers..

I 've been growing plants with this method for a long time now and constantly been trying to refine it for best results. Pot size seems to be really important especially for their first 3weeks . Usually plants show sex within 2-3weeks from seed when grown this way and I'm trying to decide what is the ideal pot size for these first few weeks. As soon as females show sex I transplant them to their finals to finish off.

As Atmosphere has pointed out growing in beds is a good option as roots from the plants don't have much if any restriction but I prefer pots for various reasons so I 'd like to hear what you guys think the ideal pot size is.

I 've used from 0.3liter pots to 2liter pots for these first weeks. From what I noticed smaller pots (0.3-0.5 liters) seem to be limiting growth and thus not a good option really. 1.5Liters would be the minimum I would go with.

I've got a few questions on the 12/12 from seed, as I feel this would be the BEST way to get the results I want. In fact, I had a single mandala #1 fem'd plant in my first grow that was ~6 weeks younger than the others (which were veg'd a loooong time), and it grew in a similar "single cola" formation. Yield was 36g in a 2 gal pot, more importantly, I could have fit so many of them in my small growspace, vs. my bushy crazy plants, and all that WORK LST'ing, bringing budsites to the light, trimming, tying, ugh.

I'm looking to do a SOG style with this setup (is the screen in SCROG beneficial with this method?, or pointless?) many many plants, lots of single colas.

Under 12/12 from seed, the plant still goes through a vegetative period, correct? I mean this as far as nutrients go...

How does nutrient dosing differ under this method? Do you pretty much proceed just like a normal grow, ignoring the light cycle? IE transplant when needed, nutrient dose based on size, switch to flowering nutes when budsites are seen, etc?

i havent grown a pure sativa but with indica dominant hybrids, youre really gonna benefit alot vegging them maybe 1-2 weeks, thats not along time and youll probably double your yield.

my brother grew purple urkle out and he vegd it for 3n a 1/2 months 4 months n flowered it out and only got like 1 - 1 1/2 ounces per plant im a fairly new grower and i kinda thought fuk man sounds like u grew some shitty ass weed or something but he ya gets them 4-8 ounce a plant harvests ive been on the hunt for a good indica strain for about a month now i got a pre 98 bubba kusk x tga deep purple but after hearing on how low the indicas yield i dont think its possible to keep an all indica garden going here and stay within the law beings you opnly get 3 plants per flower got any ideas of some good quality decent yielding idies out there?? give me a hollar

Anyone grown Femaleseeds Grapefruit under 12/12 from seed? It's a candidate for my next grow, just wondering how well it responds. From what I've read in this thread, it should grow fine. In a product description I read on a site earlier they claim it does well too, but I'm just looking for some real-life experiences.

BTW, brilliant thread Hal. This thread could really benefit a lot of people.

WWxBB 12/12 - around 2,5 months in 12/12.
Funniest is that its still generating new pistils and getting weight instead of maturing :D

And whole 12/12 grow:
picture.php

Im not sure but I think that something strange occured:

I kept "regular" WWxBB 24 days in 18/6 and around 56-58 days in 12/12 and it was visible mature (like yellow leaves, 80-90% brown pistils,yellow-orange resin) so lets say it gives even 84 days (I count since the first pre-leaves are opened).
Atm 12/12 WWxBB grows at least 76 days and it looks like it need week or two - shouldent 12/12 be faster somehow???
