Using either youtube, or google, learn about events at Garabandal Spain from 1961 to 1965.

Yes, there are Roman Catholic growers, and yes, something is about to happen to every single person on earth, something big.

Well i am (and have for a long time) expecting mass poverty, famine and civil unrest/possibly civil war in the next 20 years or so. And a dieoff eventually..

I find it funny that people always say ''it has all happened before'' and we're still fine. So so stupid. Tell it to the jews or the other millions of victims in let's say World War II. Some one will always survive! Those who are prepared or lucky..Are you prepared ? Basically our whole society is a bubble and it's unsustainable. This has been forcasted from the beginning of the industrial revolution and the green revolution. It has been basically been said that we have two options. Either we use this new technology responsibly and we will have a prosperous life or irresponsibly and multiply like animals..What has happened ? It's a no brainer really..People just block out bad thoughts, there is this new disease ''religious optimism'' going around. Some even say that your outlook on life optimism or pessimis can change the fabric of reality. IMO 2+2=4 regardless of how i feel about it..

We'll see..shit IS about to go down make no mistake. And be prepared! A nice country property with the means to produce food is always a good thing! If you want to survive or just retire when you are older..Win/Win..

Im not making any prediction further than 6 months at this point but i am biased in the long term (20 years) that some major shifts are about to happen. About this current depression i am pretty sure it will be much much worse than the last one. We'll see how long we can remain civil..

Expect the best, prepare for the worst..

A joker quote from the Dark Knight :D that has kind of been ringing in my head ever since i saw the movie ''When the chips are down, these 'civilized' people will eat each other.'' And it's the god honest TRUTH. MOST of the people are only civilized as long as their bellies are full..There is no REAL morality or ethics in our society. So when it gets bad. NEVER expect people to ''Act Nice''..

morality and ethics fluctuate to serve the needs of a society. like gypsy said. self preservation > self destruction. however, all it takes is one "joker" to destroy it all and "watch the world burn." it isnt stupid to say it has all happened before because it has. history has long repeated itself. things look horrible right now but thats because most of us have been spoiled in capitalist developed countries. "mass poverty, famine and civil unrest/possibly civil war," has been around for centuries. about 90% of the undeveloped world experiences this. the fact is no one can say for sure what the future holds. we only have the past and present to look at and guesstimate the future. its a vicious cycle.

I think that as environmental problems grow, much more emphasis will be put on developing scientific solutions to these problems. Consequences of development have been pollution, global warming and consumption of energy resources. However it has also lead to many solutions to certain problems. There appear to be developments on the horizon and possibilites for new energy sources such as tidal power and cold fusion using lasers (this one is quite theoretical still) http://www.inhabitat.com/2009/06/01/worlds-largest-laser-to-attempt-nuclear-fusion/.

EDIT: Year 2012 the new 2000? I am sceptical.

dont know where u got the fancy chart, but there is plenty of oil and plenty of natty gas.

there is sooooo much natty gas in the world that it's not even worth moving right now.

i work for a midstream natty gas company, and we have plenty to move, w/out drilling wells now.....they were tappin holes like crazy this time last year in the barnett...and theres more.

u guys prolly dont know much about this, but im sittin and learnin everything i can so i can be a part of the new alaska natty gas pipeline www.denalipipeline.com im mostly working in plants and measurement now...and doing ultra-sonic measurement...its gonna be a big deal, and im gonna be gettin paid.

Even if we're able to save the "physical world"....look at people, changing ourselves is gonna be the real issue.

well the only reason my ass is in tx is natty gas.

ive been working the plants ..those who dont know its complicated, but its converting the gas to a liquid product...and rejecting certain components...im not gonna decipher all of it as most dont have a clue anyway.

other than that i do measurement...its basicly testing and calibrating meters that measure gas flow.....like i said 'basicly'

thats all i know 4 now

Terence Mckenna came up with some interesting things with the 2012 theory based off the i ching. Shit gets real deep. Timewave zero. Its all about novelty.

I read The Invisable Landscape by the McKenna Brothers that discusses the Time Wave Zero it's a graph that accurately maps the ebb & flo of novelty over thousands of years using a mathematical formula, by chance the graph arrives at zero for the first time in the winter solstice 2012 coincidently the same day the Mayan calendar ends.

The McKennas don't predict the end of the world, but there's a good chance something we haven't witnessed before is gonna happen, sounds exciting no doom & gloom here...

It will be a global consciousness as a whole hopefully. This world wont be able to come together until each individual in each nation is on the same page of consciousness. Democracy does not work if we are not all on the same level. Not being able to see others perspectives is what is holding democracy back in our society.

LSD can be pretty negative for a lot of people. My cousin didn't give a fuck before he saw god on lsd and now he's a christian!

LOL an acid trip on saturday night/easter sunday morning in Sf that went by Grace Cathedral opened my eyes to the truth of religion the black swirling hole sucking all good away and devoring light and good energy made me realize religion and god are evil!

The world isn't going anywhere and people will evolve and survive.

The earth does not have limitless space. I think if human beings continue to reproduce without any notion of expansion times the power of X. we are doomed. How many people are on this plantet now, maybe 10 billion soon, you multiply that by whatever x number the planet cannot sustain it. Doesnt take a genious to figure that out. The earth cannot simply feed that X number of population. THere is only so much sunlight and so much grain. And so much earth.

Ehh being real we as a human race can feed all humans on this planet without letting anyone starve. The basis to the main question is does anyone really care that we can feed the planet?

Not for long..

Our agricultural practices are unsustainable and we might see major food riots soon enough. Agriculture is based on cheap oil/energy. I personally am expecting higher oil prices again by 2015 we'll see whan happens then. Organic agriculture will never feed us all..
