LoL, it is a strange funk in veg, now I've been re-aquainted with the full on Cheese aroma, I realise how different the smell in veg is. Quite a lot of my vegging plants are stinking up, particularly the OG Kush seedlings and the Psychosis mum, is still proving a bit irritating to clone!

Taking your fingers to a sugar leaf on the almost finished Cheese gives you a lingering smell that's unmistakeable Cheeseness.

Nice! That cheese looks good shame it smelt too funky to live it out in the pc. I hope I manage to deal with the smell in my PC project or it's new owner ain't gonna want it when I've done with it :(

Smell in veg is pretty much the same, yet to sample the delights of it in flower.

To be completely honest the case was so tiny it was almost impossible to rig up. In a bigger server case it should be a bit easier to get SOMETHING working!

BOLLOCKS.

BOLLOCKS.

Lovely weather we had over the weekend, so good in fact that my veg fan decided it was having a day off too. I came home to serious carnage, massively underwatered, heat stressed plants.

Over the course of a few hours I nurtured them, watered them, misted them, and talked to them.

The next day, and it looks like, despite my efforts, 4 of 6 Pre 98 Bubba x OGK are gone, as are the Sweettooth #3 and Exodus Cheese mums. FORTUNATELY I've got another clone of the Cheese that should be rooting by now.. fingers crossed..

Here are some pics.. Any hints for recovering dead plants, Leviticus style?:wallbash:

Four dead Kryptonite kush seedlings

Dead Cheese and ST#3

THE GOOD NEWS - THE SURVIVORS

Here are the surviving Kush babies.

The other good news is that the Psycho was in a larger pot, had more moisture to see her through, so was only showing a few curly, heat stressed leaves. The Chocolope seedling, only on it's 3rd true leaves, was miraculously fine, showing no symptoms at all.

edit: OTHER GOOD NEWS!
Forgot to mention, showing so far of the newly flipped plants, the Bubblicious x DSD are all females, 3 out of 3.

I cut the 'dead' plants right back, took off a load of foliage, and have been looking after them for a couple of days. Got one or two green shoots of recovery coming through now, will do my best to revive what I can from the wounded plants. Could be a waste of time, but I hope not..

Nah man I'd say it's a useful skill to know you have down to keep what you got going if the worst happens :)

that sucks snap - but if you have a small bit of the plant that is still alive they should recover.

i left my mums for a week a while back (with an capillary watering thing)- came back and 2 of the three mums were hours from death - most of the foliage died but they just recovered.
then i decided that they werent keepers and tossed them anyway!

luckily - like you , my best mum (Blueberry) was in a bigger pot and just fine.

if you have to leave your mums fore a while and are woriied they will get dry then a good idea is to cut them back a bit before you go - less foliage drinks less water

or if it's plants you're growing on then repot them and water well before going away.

True bro, I'm quite good at swallowing bad news anyway, so even if I do lose plants I will bounce back!

Thanks dude, I'm know not the only one struggling with this changeable weather, definately keeping us all on our toes.

Thanks VG, sound advice too. The ones that clearly had NOTHING left have gone, the ones that showed one or two green leaves still have been trimmed back almost to nothingness, and LOOK like they should carry on and veg once more.
