OG COCO GROW!! FIRST TIMER!

I AM GOING TO BE KEEPING A SORT OF JOURNAL ON THIS GROW. I HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF THREADS WITH PICS. I APRECIATE ALL THE INPUT FROM THOSE OF YOU WHO HELPED ME THROUGH A ROUGH SPOT WITH SPOTTING AND LEAF CURL. I PLAN TO POST A DAILY OR BI-DAILY PICS ON THIS THREAD SO KEEP LOOKING IF INTERESTED. HERE ARE DAY 11 AND DAY 12 PICS. WISH ME LUCK.

Nice sea of plants you've got. Looks like you've got them dialed in now and ready to explode. Have fun.

Oh, is that the Pure Blend Pro Bloom regular or Bloom for soil you use? Regular is NPK of 2.5-2-5 and Bloom for soil is 1.5-4-5 NPK. I have some of both is why I ask. I've been using the soil one this run so we'll see.

Thanks for the reply. From what I've read you are right, the Bloom for Soil is the better one for coco. K (potassium) is suppose to be more available in coco, so it makes sense to use the one with more level P in the ratio, to give the plant a good balance and not too much K. I started using the Bloom for soil after week 5 last time, but this run I'm using it for the entire bloom. Its working well for me with some CalMag and LK. I have no complaints. I think they should call it Bloom for Soil and Coco.

I don't think I've seen another coco grower using the PBP Bloom for soil, so you made me happy that I'm not a total freak.

LETS TALK ROOM TEMP. WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PUT THE THERMOMETER? RIGHT NOW IT IS AGAINST THE WALL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM AT PLANT LEVEL. I HAVE HEARD TO PUT IT IN SHADE AND OTHER PLACES. ANY SUGGESTIONS? CURRENTLY READING 73 HIGH AND 61 LOW.

NOT MUCH NEW HERE. THE CAL/MAG HAS GOT RID OF THE YELLOW SPOTTING THOUGH. PROBABLY BE A FEW DAYS BEFORE NEW PICS. DAY 13




WHEN I BOTTOMED THESE BEFORE I WENT TO 12/12, WE STUCK THE CUTTING IN SOME WATER. PICKED 50 THAT LOOKED GOOD AND THREW THEM IN WITH SOME ROOT POWDER. 2 WEEKS LATER I AM HAPPY TO SAY THEY ARE ALL STRONGLY ROOTED AND WILL VEG UNTIL THE NEXT RUNL. WHOO-HOOO!!!

Almost every day. Sometimes I skip a day if the coco is still real moist. Every week and a half or so I flush with clearex also.
