Hi all,
i used the paper towel method for my 10 seeds for 3 days tonight i checked them and they sprouted their tap roots now and my mixed soil is ready. But i can't decide which lamp do i need to use right now and cant really decide the light schedule?
i got 400w hps(red/yellow and %40 blue light)
and i found my aquarium fluroscent(daylight 30watt,90cm,6000K)
which one do you think do i need to use ?and please tell me which schedule do i need to follow now ?

With your options I would use the 400w on an 18/6 to 24/0 schedule for veg.

Have used a similar tank light for the first ten days for ten seedlings , sometimes longer , and the plants do fine.
The plants cant use a huge amount of light early on and a 400 would be overkill and risk drying out , suggest set the florescent as close as possible without scorching on 18/24 light schedule as a good starting point.
Switch to the HPS in 10 - 14 days , set it high at first and lower it over a few days , works for me.

Best of luck with your grow.

I thought that way when i found my tank light but i am really confused about this light will be enough for my seedlings to grow healhty ??
and maybe i can put them to my empty tank upholster with a aluminum foil and set them very close to the light, maybe this way can work.i will set it right now ,after three days we will see how its work =))
Still any advice is appreciated

The tube can be as close as an inch , get some reflective material/paint around them to waste less light and reduce any stretch and it should be a fine start.
