2-4 weeks of flower left, should i prune or not?

Hello folks,
I have a couple of plants that have 2-4 weeks left to flower but as of yet they havent been pruned at all and they have quite a heavy growth, especially at the bottom. There is still some light getting through but if i trimmed them it would mean alot more light getting down to the bottom of the plants and prob better bud development. Do you think it would be ok to trim them now and let the light get through or do think it will slow up the bud growth? Also if it does slow the growth a little if i do prune them, could i gave them an extra a week or so flowering to make up for it? Or is it best just to leave them all together?
Any advice or opinions would be really helpful appreciated!

Don't prune now, wont do any good to you. Rather harvest the bigger buds at the top that are receiving the most light first and leave the smaller buds to develop a while longer... So harvest twice basically..

I'd say just leave the lower branches and buds on there because you hadn't trimmed very much earlier on and its a bit too late in the flowering cycle to make a difference (I'm not an experienced grower, so don't quote me on this).
I usually try to trim everything from the bottom up that isn't getting adequate light around the first week or two of flower.

You can, but if you cut off too much it will shock/slow them.

Just prune a little bit every few days and they dont really mind.
