Hey everybody it's finally time for me to grow I'll be posting pics tonight of my setup. Don't have any pics of my plants yet considering I just dropped them in organic soil. I've been a 2 year lurker and now it's time for me to contribute back to this community which has helped me learn so much.
I'm growing in a grow tent which has the dimensions of being 4'11'', 4'11'' and 6'11''. I'm using a 250 Watt HPS + MH conversion and a 400 Watt HPS + MH conversion I'll be using the MH for the first two weeks in both systems but I will be growing 12/12 from seed in a Sea of Green style starting with around 40 seeds in 1/2 gallon grow bags which I will hope to get down to around 20-23 plants ideally with my goal being 1 ounce per a plant.
My genetics are 20 Nirvana Ice, 10 papaya, 5 Mazar x Shariff, the rest bagseed picked for genetic traits that I found in the bud I smoked.
My venilation consist of a 4'' vortex fan combined with a 8inch inline booster duct fan and a triple layer organic filter. Also have just got a steal of a deal on a open box 8,000 BTU portable air conditioner for 150$ which I just put into my system last night. I have a temp controller coming today which will tie into my venilation and ac and will control those systems when the temp gets to high or to low.
I want you to tune into this one because it will be perpetual with me taking clones at week two even though I won't be able to determine sex from each plant by then I will by week 3 or 4 of 12/12 from seed and I will rid my chambers of all males at that time unless I find a resinous male which I would keep for breeding purposes. The funny thing is this grow is taking place at my mom's house but she doesn't go into the attic because the stairs are so steep and everything is dialed in so there is no noise I've built muffler boxes for both fans and also have two 4'' duct mufflers which makes the noise pretty much none existent.
I'll be going to RiP soon to hopefully the get in the rangers in October so all growing will have to stop at that time already have stopped smoking this is purely for profit reasons. I plan on doing 4-8 years in the military and then maybe become a LEO and I wll continue growing after that with less risk of being caught and don't worry I won't be arresting any stoners only hard drugs will just be pulling stoners over and telling them to be more fucking careful. If you have any problem with my career decisions you can fuck off
but if not I definetly want all advice any experienced and unexperienced growers can give me.
