How much longer

Hey ICMag! Here I have my girl that is 7 weeks into flowering. Now the person I'm living with is convinced that it is ready to pull, that she's had plenty of time and is done. I say that it could go another week easy. What do all you guys think? Much appreciated, thanks.

bagseed, no microscope so I'm unsure of the tric color, and only about 5% of the hairs have turned orange.

To me, from those pictures, it looks like it still has a couple weeks to go..
I would recommend going to radio shack and buying a magnifier though..

dont pull it.. keep it going.

This is its prime man.. give it one more week at least.. I know your friend probably wants it pulled but convince him the wait will make it better..

Go to radioshack and get that microscope, its only like 5-10 bucks..

If you cant, then just let more hairs get orange and pull in, wait at least another week... more if you can handle it (probably wouldn't go over two)..

Also, if you see foxtail shoots growing out, thats a sign its finishing/finished

You could start flushing now if you want. I'd give her plain water until she is done plumping up. You can't always go by trics BTW.

Oh man if you think it looks good now, give it two more weeks minimum. You'll see how much the calyxes swell. I am going through the same thing right now. I'm on day 66 and I think another week still could be good for them. I chopped an early 40g(wet) off my one plant, since it's hermie anyway, but I'm gonna let the main cola and the other plants go the full term. I am so excited to see how much denser they can be.

Those long thin leaves indicate a sativa dominant plant, which will benefit from some more time before harvesting. You may have a rough few weeks ahead waiting.

I'd start flushing. Straight water for 1-1/2 to 2 weeks then harvest.

My reasoning? It's in a small pot and she's quite massive. She probably won't fatten up much more due to that. You said you were starting to see orange hairs so in 2 weeks you should at least 50% hopefully. Also, go get a magnifier of some sort and check the trichs.

looks like she's got at the very least 2 weeks to go, if not 3 or 4

yeah u got almost 2 weeks to go. i know the pressure i have the same looking strain. besides from how ur plant looks what your looking for is expanded buds. i called the stage your in flowering and the next stage is ripening. every flowering plant ripens. wait until it ripens then cut. You dont even have to check tricks until they start to ripen. u will notice that the red hairs atre now white again a little thicker than before and ur ready to go. They look like bumps upon bumps, kinda hard to explain. u can cut now and everytthing will be fine if ur going for weight wait

She does not even looked like she has started to swell yet, and the lack of fan leaves is definitely gonna slow things down. I would say she has closer to 4 weeks left.

Thanks for all the replys guys! I have started flushing this week so I'm good on that, as for the fan leaves I had some deficiencies in early flower and all the fan leaves had yellowed and died off. Il be butting heads to try and convince the amigo to let her go another week. Wish me luck!

Meaty, cut a sample off if you are itching to try it. It will confirm that it is not ready.

I concur, largish plant in small container, no fans left, most hairs still white... Without a magifier of some sort, I would guess min 2 more weeks.
