Bubble Bags: Worth the Cost, or Hassle?

I've been eying up bubble bags for years now, but never made the plunge. I was always somewhat turned off by the fact that you had to break it into powder for storage (at least according to the instructions on the site). Seems to me that kinda defeats the whole purpose of making hash?

Any thoughts?

what do you mean by "braking into powder for storage??" i know to dry it its good to lay it out into powder....i own a few different bubble bags buy the original is much stronger and will last for years if you take care of them, I make hash all the time i sometimes press it and it can be stored for quite some time in blocks or balls of hash... i smoke it fast tho.

See the below quote from the bubble bags instructions. I guess they just mean break it up small onto cardboard, then press it once you're sure it's dry? Do you need one of those pollen press things to press it?

You should note that leaving the bubble in this pressed cookie form is by no means a proper drying process, they should be broken up into powder while still wet and placed over a thick cardboard that will act as a dessicant and remove the water from your bubble. Be sure your bubble is fully dry before pressing it – otherwise mold can form on the inside.

Usually you can make dark hash from powder after it's dry just by warming it in your hands.
Storage this for 6+ months and you get the best hash you've ever seen.
If it's fresh it's too strong for lungs.
After curing year or two the hash starts to get gourmet quality!
(chillum smokers like me should love this)

Sometimes it's impossible to get the powder to "clay"-form.
It just doesn't happen with bud of some strains.
When making hash from trimmings it usually works if the powder is clean enough (not too much green stuff).
