DAY 42 - 12/12
I just got back, after leaving them alone for about a week - and im very happy! They seem to be maturing up nicely. I am going to feed them once more, and then do a nice long flush
They are really starting to stink now as well.
2 of the plants turned hermi and grew a few seeds which is sorta upsetting
my other plants are fine as far as I can tell.. hopefully they stay that way

Magiccannabus; You have some nice buds!! Mine seem to be alot more indica then yours, thus the shorter flowering time.. I have 2-3 sativa plants that arent maturing near as quick
Ive gave 2 applications of the DNF clear. I mix 5ml per litre of water, and water the plants. I waited 24 hours to let the clear dissolve the salts and nutes; and then I flushed with 5 litres of water each.. The water is yellow like pee , from the toxins I imagine. This is my second time doing this, and the water was still yellow! I probably fed them more then they needed
I put a small pot upside down in a bucket, and put the plant pot ontop of that. I then water 5+ litres of water and let it drain through
Must be lots of nasty shit in the soil.. the flush water looks like pee

Isn't the wait grueling? Nothing to be purchased around here though, and no money to purchase with, so I think that makes it worse lol

haha yeah we've been making blunts out of ground up fan leaves mixed with ISO oil made using all the stems and seeds I accumulated while in the schwagg game. It's awful stuff, full of seed oil, but buying bud is expensive, and I need it medically or I feel like crap all the time. It helps anyway, so does that early sample off the hermie. I just wish the calyxes would swell up already. I think that light leak set me back at least a week or two. Gonna try to let them all go as long as I can though!

I harvested at day 63
After drying almost out I had 190 grams, or 6.7 ounces. Now i have 5 ounces of really dry bud, plus tons of popcorn buds for hash
I froze some dried ground up buds and made very melty hash with my sift box.. Its quite deadly

I flushed these plants for almost 3 weeks so they are very clean to smoke

Some of the most resinous, potent bud turned out to be white it some parts! The same plant put off "sappy" bubbles on the stem. It looked like balls of honey oil, but tasted very sugary..
Heres a part of it thats white
Could that be from the long flush?

You did a real nice job in your cab, mandi.
Nice flush. What you flushed out of there wasn't nasty though...it was just salts and nutrients. You could actually use it effectively to fertilize vegging plants.
I like how you are willing to experiment with different lighting spectrum and arrangement.
If I may...you may want to read up on how to overdrive a flouro tube set-up. I think if you modify around the flouros, you will have better results than with the cfl's. At least it will be easier to keep temps in check plus better utilization of space. I use a 46w cfl as a single plant unit, but I find the 26w bulbs are about the happy medium for effectiveness vs heat. A bunch of those big bulbs will heat up a cab fast, as all the ballasts are in the grow as well.
