I have a remote cabin off the grid but visible from the air in northern california. I also have medical permission to grow 20 plants for personal use and was planning an outdoor garden. Should i be concerned about flyovers? They will definately be flying over sooner or later. I'm not worried about criminal charges as much as them repelling down and chopping down my plants. Will this happen if they are scattered about the land?

Any opinions?

20 plants, scattered? post laminated copies of your rec in front of each tree. While you're at it, grow them horizontally...

There are literally hundreds of thousands of medical gardens all over California every year.
If you live where the weather is good for growing, there will probably be a few hundred (maybe even thousand) plants in the 20 square miles around you.

I wouldn't worry about it.

i can't afford a caregiver or these california collectives. i was able to get better cheaper meds living in a non medical state. it's easier to grow somewhere where everyone isn't doing it and the rent isn't astronomical.

my suggestion is to look in rural counties i.e shasta, trinity, plumas, butte and there are a few more. I am also in another rural county and it seems like the cops and the community are ok with things as long as you follow the rules. You can rent a nice spot for less than a g or you can buy the market is great.
