Almost busted

Not going to go into details here but I just barely avoided being busted recently. Had a large wooden frame mylar covered flowering area (4' x 7'). Had a beautiful crop of 16 healthy and strong kalichakra clones in their first three weeks of flower. Next day landlord inspection came in, and of course found nothing as I ripped everything down and hauled my gear off to a safe house. I wish to restart again, but this time in a cabinet and everything fully stealthed and disguised. This makes things more difficult but it should be doable. Unfortunately I cannot find a good armoire or even a cabinet on the streets and therefore I must construct one. I am wondering if anyone has any plans for building a large armoire that will look like perfectly legitimate piece of furniture. I need to run a 600 watt HPS in there - cooling won't be a problem as I seem to be good at designing systems for that.

I am upset as well because I lost the WW x SSH strain from Nuggetshiner - this was a major loss. I also lost two wonderful phenos of Jack Herer that were found in a bag from Cali, as well C99 x Cali o. If anyone has any plans or blueprints to construct something like this I would be very appreciative. since the landlord found nothing I am in the clear, and scaling way down would be smart in an apartment anyways. At least until I can find a larger and safer location WAY far away from where I am now. Thanks in advance.

Hello there. Too bad about you losing some quality genetics. I grew some Mandala Kalichackra outdoors and after reading your post makes me want to order some more of their excellent seeds. Their safari mix is a good selection too as it has some Kalichakra Sativa bloodlines in there. I was looking through some sale flyers today and seen some cabinets that would look inconspicous for a stealth grow. This one I seen seems like it would be too small for a 600 though. It was a cabinet at canuck ( canadian) tire. It was on sale for like $100. Really nice looking bedroom cabinet. I think that Ikea of sweden sells some nicely made bedroom cabinets as well. There is a website called island harvest ca where the people there grow organic weed for medical use and they use plyboard cabinets similar to the one I seen in the Canadian Tire flyer. I am on my first indoor run in a Secret Jardin dr 150 tent and I am using a 600 hps. I goofed up a bit with my timer so I am on my first day of flowering light regimen and I am hoping that I did not veg too long as I fear that the plants will stretch as high as I can raise my light. I would check out Anti's stealth cab he did it's a cd case on the front and pulls away from the wall with the entrance to the grow on the back. It's pretty bad ass and it's only cfls but you could design it for HID I just thought it was cool how it looks like a book shelf pretty much...

next time you have a scare like that make sure you take some of the bottom branches off your plants and stick them in the fridge! They'll stay good for up to 3 to 4 weeks. plenty of time to get clean and still have your genetics on hand when you need them. Sucks to lose genetics.

It would be a lot of work.

I would go for a plywood box, painted the same color as the walls and tucked away in an open closet.

Can't use the closet because I store all my supplies and chemicals there - haha. I'm going to use feminised seeds from Paradise, Opium to be specific. I have 'high' expectations for it. I am going to the salvation army today to try to find a large cabinet - as long as I find one big enough for my 250 halide I'm going to order the opium seeds immediately and by the time they arrive I should have their new home all set up. Then I have about 4-6 weeks to find a cabinet or armoire big enough to house my 600 and get it all set up. I will not settle for anything less than a 600 - I've seen the results with it many times and I am simply not giving it up. Suffice to say I will not be re-signing my lease here in this complex and will recommend to everyone not to live there. I can't use a plywood box much as I would like to - I have to find a large piece of furniture and modify it - I know I'm in the clear as far as the landlord goes since everything was completely normal when he intruded into my home. Unless I can find legitimate wood-working plans to build a piece of furniture I have to go out and find it. Ever since I had to rip down my beautiful lab, my entire life has gone completely to shit and I have had nothing but bad luck in everything. Maybe I used up all my good karma not going to prison. Who knows.

Any more ideas on modifying cabs and total stealth yet reasonable scale grows appreciated. I need to have one cabinet for vegging and for clones, and the other larger one for flowering under the 600 watt HPS.

Hey thanks - I just wish I didn't have to read through 8000 pages in the 600 watt club. Just looking for the grows that are stealthed inside furniture and armoires and such. Will give it a look though - thanks. If anyone has any grow or pics or plans in specific for an armoire grow I'd love to see them. Again, thanks for everything everyone.
