What's new

Nanners before flip?

This is only my second grow. I'm runnin Blue Majestic under a 600w.
My first grow was AK-48, went good but I think I under fed the whole grow, plants were small but tastey. This time I'm letting them veg longer to get larger plants, I'm at about 18 weeks veg now.
My grow room is sealed good so no light gets in but I just checked on them and the plant right under the light has what I think are nanners up and down the stalk.:fsu:
I'm a newby! What should I do?:1help:

Take pictures, post them, ask advice, and if it is a male, you'll probably either want to cull it, move it to it's own chamber with some CFLs, or deal with it pollinating everything.

18 weeks of veg? That's crazy man, nice bush you've probably got there.

Really hard to tell without pictures, calyxes that form during the beginning of flowers often look like "nanners," but if you see the thing growing little pollen sacs ("balls,") then you're going to need to either kill it or move it, as everyone else said.

Or deal with it pollinating everything and have seeds in your buds :/

Are you planning on keeping this plant as a mother or did you veg it for 18 weeks just for the sake of having a monster?

Need some pictures to tell. I've vegged plants that long and oh my f*cking god were they some yielders!!!!

Thanks for the responces ya'll.
First I need to learn how to read a calender, they've been in veg for 14 weeks not 18, DEE DE DEEEEE! But they are goin for 3 more weeks till flip.
They are gettin 18-6 for light.
I tossed the offending plant last night, oh well. That leaves me 9.

Agian thanks for the advice, now we see what happens.

Thats still quite a long veg time imo. I'm planning to veg some chronic for maybe 8 to 10 weeks. This will be my longest veg time. I can get so impatient somtimes though.

thats a really long veg. make sure you have enough root space before you go into floewring so that those puppies can build some big dank buds.

i left my plants rootbound going into flowering last time and ended up with light airy buds. they still got me high as shit but he yield left somehting to be desired

I've got my girls(hopefully), in 3gal buckets. Do ya think I should transplant them to 5gal buckets?
I'm lookin at flipen them in about 3 weeks. What do ya'll think?
Like I said, this is only my second grow so any advice on ANYTHING will be greatly needed and thanked.
I hope to be doing this :joint: in 3 to 4 months, not this :fsu:

Thanks agian ya'll.

Definitely transplant to 5gal now. They'll get a nice solid foothold into those buckets before you flip. Might hold off a week if they're a bit root shy in the 3 gal yet.
