hi fellow tokers...im 22 years old and have been smokin for 4 years EVERY DAY since i was 18...last few weeks it seems like i havent had a good high in a real while...seems like as of lately everytime i smoke i think about all the things i need to do with my life. I will admit it was fun for awhile but now im at the point where its just dragging me down, i never would have thought i would want to quit but it seems like the best choice for me at this stage in my life. I will continue to post in these forums just cuz this is a good discussion forum. its been great guys

Maybe instead of blaming your laziness on cannibus you should take resposiblity for yourself. There are plenty of stoners out there that lead productive lives. The problem isn't marijuana, the problem is you.

even so maybe moderation is an option. y all or nothing? don't blame your problems on a plant...

I can always send da' dog over to get your ass off the couch.

More Weed For Me.... :D

Is it possible to fall in love on a weed forum?

Yeah I know that I'm married but thats just a technicality! My oldlady hasn't smoked weed for 15 years.

I can kill a manbearpig with my bare hands.

I'm sure there are people on the planet who are moral enough, and successful enough, to get by living decent lives while high everyday. A few even got rich. Some undoubtedly found happiness. Alas, I've never met a man who I truly admired, or aspired to be on any level, who smokes pot every day. There are too many moral and intellectual concerns that morally responsible people should put their energy into solving that do not allow for one to be high all day. It's just not a responsible way to live your life, in my humble opinion.

Take a month off. Re evaluate your cognitive skills. If you don't miss it, don't come back. If you do, make it a weekend thing. You've already proven that judicious use isn't for you, so make rules for yourself.

Good luck.

I've smoked my entire adult life. I have no Idea who I would be without it. Sometimes I want to find out, but I get too angry without the distracting effect of herb. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. I'm definitely lazy, but I think I always was. In one year I will have spent more of my life smoking than not. It is who I am, for better or worse.

Hey buddy sounds like your going through a tough one.. here is some advice.

ONE, listen to your friends and take advice nicely don't cope and attitude!
Were all tokers here and I promise you most of us have had to quit for a while...
I know I have.. I smoked week for years and years straight without a break, when I quit for a while it made me categorize my life and get it back on track.
Back to smoking and all is good just take a break and let reality take hold, then blaze all day my brother!

I took a road trip to Canada during the middle of my first year of law school at a top 50 school to buy seeds. I grew and smoked throughout law school. Made Deans List too. Now I'm a white collar defense attorney who still grows (just flipped 8 Kali to 12/12) and smokes everyday.

The thing I realized is that marijuana AND myself were making me lazy. I didn't want to study for the hardest Bar in the country.

I checked my relationship with weed, took a week off, and came back to it with a healthy relationship. Now, I control the we'd, it doesn't control me.

The hardest part is DISCIPLINE. Get that and you are golden.

Man, I smoked my way all the way through college and graduated while working too. It did get to the point around 2 months ago where I just smoked way too much, so I cut it down a lot, then quit about a month or so ago so I could find a job.

To be honest, I still miss it a lot, but I realized that I enjoy it a hell of a lot more when I'm not getting blazed everyday. The reality is, I got shit to do and work to find, so moderation was key for me. It may not work the same for everyone, but I'm much more alert and ready when I'm not stoned; I just love weed and will probably continue to smoke in moderation for the rest of my life, if I can.

Do what's best for you man.

Ive been weed smoker for 10 years now. AT one point i took like a 6 month break from smoking.

I didnt notice any changes except for the first few days, i was still lazy and forgetting shit so i figured i might aswell smoke again. Btw i study at university, have a job which makes me get up at 5AM and workout 3 times a week and i blaze pretty much 24/7. But i also had times where i would stay at home for weeks and not have motivation to do ANYTHING. So for me i cant really blame it on the weed, its all up to me and how i feel about my life.
