Rust is a type of fungus. I had that problem and I noticed the spots on the leaves before I noticed I had fungus gnats. I used a fungicide with neem oil in it that I got from home depot and it definitely slowed it down, but check your ph first and try to get it between 5.8 and 6.2 and see if that helps.

I had something similar with one of my plants... it was a male though.

What I did? I just cut off the leaf which showed it after the plant got a bit bigger and it didn't seem to spread. Not sure it will go that way with your plant since I cut mine off like 20days after I saw the "rusty" spots.

hope it helps at least a bit!

Looks to me like a root grabbed a hot piece of dirt. :D

I wouldn't worry about it unless it seemed to continue to get worse.

I'm with Hydro-Soil, as usual........has helped me with many issues. One of the most trusted people on here IMO.
As for your problem, I also use Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Its a fairly hot soil for young plants, many of my first leaves twist a little and get slightly burned, depending on the sensitivity of the strain. Your new growth looks fairly healthy, so you should be good to go...
Good luck, spy

That looks to me like some kind of external prob, like a burn from something splashing on it, or a drop of water under a bright light burning a whole in the leaf.

Whay I see which is weirder, is the general deformity of those leaves. It's slight, but they are young and you shouldn't be seeing that.

Drop the sweet for sure, you don't need that shit until flower. The LK is questionable too, and I would drop that until after your next transplant. Ocean Forest contains many of the same elements as LK, so so it is possible you are giving them too much of a good thing. Sometimes too many trace elements and naturally occuring hormones, etc like those that are in kelp meal, will cause all kinds of weird little problems.

Throw them gals in a slightly bigger pot, and just give them clean water, and they will be good. Start giving them all the crap after they start needing ferts and start growing faster.

Forgot to mention that when I use FFOF I usually don't start feeding with anything else until AT LEAST week 3 of veg, and even then I use just a little. FFOF has lots of good stuff that, in theory shoud get you all the way through veg at least

deformaties

deformaties

the deformed leaf is due to the strain itself. the breeder calls it retarded hunnies. i've never splashed water on the leaves and i tried cutting off affected leaves but it came back now its on the tips of all my plants and some leaves are actually like the ones i pictured with random dots all over the place... i've just been feeding it ro water when the dirt is dry to bring it back but its not going... really starting to frustrate me!

The updated photos show what those dots turned into... any guesses?
