I have lots and lots of trimmings in my attick from last years greenhouse grow.

But the cats also had acces to the attick.

The dire consequence is , that when i make hash , the kief has cat hairs in it.

So i have to spend 2 hours to remove all hairs.

Still it isn't a tasty thought.

So is there a way i can solve this , or should i just make oil?(iso hashoil)

Next year i'll put the trimmings in a drying net

I have the same problem....kitty hair is fricken airborn! I usually do dry screen hash, not too much problem there...but everything else, yeah there's kitty hair. I don't have a any help to offer, since for me, the kitty hair problem start during flower....when the plants start picking it up. I usually spend a lot of time de-fuzzing buds when I trim, but during dry time, it seems like it's all back.

We have to move our bedroom back to the upstairs (all one big room) and use one of the downstairs rooms to dry....I have 5 cats and they need the space to not get stressed.

I guess if you can close off a space to process in...that could help. In the meantime..get yourself a furminater and use it on the kitties a couple times a week....you'll see an all around improvement in hairballs and fluff dusters.

Haha, yeah I don't have the heart to keep my cat away from the plants, he just loves checking em' out!

Hash oil is the answer. I wouldn't oil "ground buds" that have possible synthetic fibers in them though, those are only good for compost.

Any material too nasty to smoke or stick in my mouth, I usually extract the oil from.

Alas, I have come to believe that if you live with cats, that you have cat hair everywhere. It permeates everything. People are always asking you if you have a cat. Not their most endearing attribute.

On the other hand, in one of those low moments in my life when I sat alone questioning how worthwhile picking up the pieces one more time and continuing life was, my eyes fell on a single hair lying on my shirt sleeve.

Remembering how much my animals adored and needed me and how much of a joy they are to share life’s experiences with, was the positive thought that I needed to move forward with life at that low moment.

Our last cat recently died and as the hairs slowly dissipate from all the nooks and crannies, I also can’t help but notice that the mice are now trying to move back in. Probably there is a message about balance in there somewhere.

one of biggest hates...cat furr on buds....just one look at my cat years ago and he would run away as he thought "meow mmmmm grow doors open"...true the furr just floats around...even more hard to pick of the buds when you have pounds of the stuff...duno?.HH. =]-~

We learn from every single plant we grow - if we´re openhearted.

I know you are
