Here are some pictures. starting off with some OG Kush X Super Silver Haze. There are 2 phenos pictured here

both were Super Silver Haze dominant and showed tendencies to stretch, but they were not vegged for too long and were topped and kept low and bushy

Pheno 1 was probably 75% SSH and 25% OG Kush, with the flavor and smell dominated by the SSH. it went exactely 65 days, was probably ready at 63 actually and looked like she was finishing up at 58-60. very quick finisher for something with haze in it!

Pheno 2 was just like pure Super Silver Haze from Mr. Nice. Big huge plant, very Hazy. big yield, she went 75 days and was definitely done at 75 fortunately. had some of the STRONGEST pungent spicy fruit/lemon/mango flavor I have ever had.

similar to C99/fruity Jack phenos except better taste and MUCH more potent! Super Silver Haze really is one of the best strains out there as far as taste and most of all potency and incredible breding material

here is pheno 2. Super Silver Haze dominant. went 75 days. very similar to same SSH I had in past from Mr. Nice.

Excellent yield, great full flavor taste and A+ potency. people like this herb more than most diesel crosses that come around here (and there are quite a few!) they all say the SSH smokes it

More pictures to come including dry bud shot pictures and smoke reports of pictured strains

garden overview:

1000w HPS, organic soil grow. Promix/Perlite/Dolomite Lime/FF Peace of Mind for soil mixture, keep it simple. well Ph buffered, nutrient enriched and soil airation

Fox Farm Grow Big, 30 days veg, short veg period due to time constrants. Fox Farm Tiger Bloom for first 25 days flowering. then cut out Nitrogen and switch too 1-10-10 Jamaican Bat Guano teas with Liquid Karma/Molasses/Maxi crop added occasionally

I did experience some issues. Although the plants obviously turned out nicely, I seem to be having some kind of issue. I don't think it's PH as the soil has Botanica Soil Sweeten Lime added to stabalize PH.

They seemed to stay nice and green up until about the 5th week of flowering and then started seeing problems of yellowing and brown spots everywhere on some of the leaves.

what the hell is going on in the pictures below?!

Thanks Cheeseman

It was a strain created by a friend, if he wants to take credit for it he can :)

My friend grew out the beans my other friend created and backcrossed the strain again with another huge, stinky, SSH dominant male (at least structurial SSH dominant)

so have some nice seed stock for future use, which is nice :)

I love the sharing aspect of gardening cannabis. I hope everyone trades as many strains as possible. I hate when people horde their f*ckin strains. Sry its just that I gave this guy like 15 cuts for free hopin I could get one Apollo cut, but he never returns my calls:mad:.

Keep up the good work! I myself am preparing to start my first breeding project soon, actually growing a male is foreign to me, but Im intrigued, must be nice too, to be able to produce your own seeds as well as clones,

Great Strains, Peace

fucking amazing plants and what a killer cross, wow man!
and the problem looks like cal-mag deficiency caused by low ph,
the guano will lower your ph .

here is pheno 2 of OG Kush X SSH. a couple of the closeups are not great. there is a reflection from the flash, that is not PMildew

Here is the Island Sweet Skunk from Federation. It definitely lives up to the reputation it has gotten in Vancouver/BC/NWest region. very sativa plant, but huge producer. giant buds.

the flavor is musky and skunky mixed together, touch of spice. no sweet or fruit in this pheno, just musk/skunk. it has an incredibly full on heavy stone that leaves you feeling like you have been wacked on the head. very high quality long lasting stone. great flow to it, not murky high either

definitely very heady though with heavy eyes, not much body. completely forgetting what the heritage is (sweet pink grapefruit X big skunk?)

will go back and try to get as nice of a quality picture as the close up of the ISS below. (The OG Kush X SSH pics above don't do it justice)

thanks again everyone

definitely used to plants yellowing on me, but it seemed these were definitely sucking the juice.

couple of questions:

1) I am using 3 gallons of Promix, 1 part Perlite, and then 2.5 tablespoons Dolomite lime and 3 tablespoons Fox Farm Peace of Mind Fruit and Flower

Is there anything wrong with this soil mixture? Too hot?

Should I be adding more Lime then just 2 tablespoons per 3 gallons of soil?

Also, how often should I supplement Cal/Mag? I have a bottle of it. Would just using it a few times throughout flowering be enough or should I use it every watering?

2) Is the following nutrient solution ok for flowering with EVERY watering?

-3 tablespoons Jamaican Guano 1-1-10 per gallon of water along with 1/2 teaspoon Meta K, Maxicrop and Liquid Karma

too much to be using with every watering if I am watering in soil once every 4-5 days?

can you over do it with guanos or can too much guano mess up your PH, drive it down even if soil is fortified with dolomite lime?

thanks for the help

throw up a thread in the infirmiry, you probably would get help a lot quicker, especially after fill in some details about your grow.....

are you using tap water?
do you use a pH or PPM meter?
I would say kinda hard and hot but youre not feeding that often....when you aren't feeding do you use just plain water in between the 4-5 day feeding period or ?
I'm surprised your feeding supplements at all with that medium mix.
Do you transplant into this mix at the beginning of flower?
how long have you used this method of growing?

killer cross for sure. sounds nice.

thanks brastaman. I posted in the Infirmary and had no luck :)

Gonna post a few rambing question. If anyone cares to take a shot at any of them, I would HIGHLY appreciate it

I am using tap water. I am pretty sure it's a little hard, that's why I didn't use the Cal/Mag a lot. I see Red Buildup on my sinks and toilets which I think is Cal and blue spots on sinks are Mag?

I do use a Oakton PH pen till it crapped out. But I thought with organics PH didn't really matter if you had enough Lime in the soil to act as a buffer??? always seemed smart to PH balance my nutrient solution so I always did just in case after the pen broke anyway

Is 2 tablespoons Lime per 3 gallons of Promix sufficient? Is one Tablespoon Fox Farm Peace of Mind Fruit and Flower too much per 1 gallon soil?

as far as the soil...no additives in veg at all...promix and perlite which is 6.4

I transplant into 3 gallon containers about 1 week before flowering, then flower. The mixture I transplant them for flowering per 3 gallons of Pro Mix is: 1 part Perlite, 2 tablespoons dolomite lime, 3 tablespoons Fox Farm Peace of Mind

Does that sound like too hot of a mixture? Love the Peace of Mind though, usually keeps my plants nice and green

I am thinking this could have to do with adding Clearex about 6 weeks into flowering. It is just a sugar solution that unlocks nutrients. I honestly SWEAR by it at harvest/flush time. I think using it too early may have been bad.

Clearex has huge chelating properties from what I understand and makes plants used stored nutrients very fast and unlock other nutrients that were not available previously. Maybe that's why they suggest flushing Clearex after a day or two, because it chelates too many nutrients and makes your plants suck up huge amounts of nutrients and eventually drains the plants/soil of nuts?

As far as feeding schedule, I would give them juice at every watering with tiger bloom then bat guano teas, both at small doses.

Can you use guano teas too much? Someone above mentioned they send your PH of your soil down which is interesting. Could have something to do with it, but I thought Dolomite Lime in soil would prevent this...would that be fair to say?

Is 3 Tablespoons Guano, 1/4 teaspoon Meta-K, 1 tablespoon Maxicrop and 1 teaspoon Liquid Karma too much for a nutrient solution everytime? I do not test my PPM. Do I have to worry about it for this mixture? or is it more for PPM in the tap water?

I think I only did plain water once in veg and 2-3 times in flowering. With that said, I use fairly weak solutions with Tiger Bloom and then Guano tea.

Is using a guano tea every watering too much? I don't have to water/give nutrient that ofter in a 70 day flower cyle if I am watering everyday 4-6 days (waterings wet to dry, takes a while for 3 gallons to dry out completely towards inside of pots) so for that reason, I give nutrients at small doses almost every watering

Also, I don't really have run off until last weeks of flowering. But I thought as long as soil doesn't get too hot, that this is ok. Impossible to have run off with Promix in early stages without water logging and stressing the shit of the plants at least one or two time. Promix holds a shit ton of water. Water too heavy, early, and you will drowned your roots in Promix

Sorry for long winded response, but would appreciate ANY help with what might be going on. I think it's either hard water, Cal/Mag def or P or K def

more pictures to come, but please can anyone please throw some ideas at me with what is wrong?!

I have posted in the Infirmary for the past 2 weeks with no luck

I have provided a ton of info and pictures. hopefully that will be enough for someone to pinpoint my problem! thanks again
