ok so im using a bubble cloner for the first time i made it myself. its a 7gal clear container (i no container should be dark) i have 3 air stones in the water, im not sure what the temp of the water is but it feels cooler then room temp. i put duct tape over the cover of the container to try and keep the light from shining down on where the roots form but the roots have not come yet do to slim on stem (day6) i took each clone out and ran tapwater over the stem to get the slim off then dipped each clone in a cup of water and hydrogen peroxide. I use tapwater with 60ml of liquid clone hormone with a good amount of hydrogen peroxide to kill the slim off my stems but that does not seem to work so what the hell am i doing wrong?!

That's my first guess. 75º is optimum. I use an aquarium heater, some use mats. For 7 gallons I'd use 2-3 drops of hormones (along with 1/4 tsp per gal of GH FloraMicro and FloraBloom) a tablespoon seems like a lot. Then again, I soak my stems for one minute in full strength hormones before gel and cube. Never could get the bubbler to work with naked stems.

As you said/know your cloning container ideally should be dark. Regarding the slime, that was pretty quick thinking with the peroxide. When this happens to me (not very often now:) I did pretty much what you did, but I made a new cut as I found once the slime developed it normally choked the clone and it never recovered. I would make a new diagonal cut above the slime line if possible and try again. Should be fine if you change your water and put a few drops of peroxide in the water if you are going to use the same container. Good luck.

please read the sticky above regarding slime. Me and richyrich have discussed this at length and the problem is solved. You may lose these clones however. H2o2 does not help
