do you reckon it's better than the Cheese Rick?, i'm surprised there's not been many grow threads of this clone around the forums,
i think in the past 2 years or so on the forums i've only seen pics of it twice (both within the last few months)

Lots of ppl grow, sell, and smoke all these stains as "cheese" Dr D. ,, sort of like skunk was when we were younger,, everything is "Cheese"

Blues n Livers are Northern / North West based from what we can gather,,, not to be confused with similar Blue Cheese from out East, Psychosis n Cheese from central south, or Big Buddh'as Cheese from Midlands. While dem welsh, who is part of the UK also, have dem own tings happenin,, with some Livers and some Blues mixed in ,, oh and CheesexTrainWreck ,, plus many many other Cheesey varieties,, each one slightly different :canabis:

UK is overgrowing ,, :D

if you can smell blueberry`s in your cheese bud,,,im 99% sure you have the real deal,,,imo, Cheese has a purple tint that makes smell like berrys,,,

the blue`s clone is sweeter than cheese,,,,more blue flava too,,,....

i sometimes buy blues, i pay mad high prices, just because it tastes better than cheese...its grown badly but tastes better in joints than my cheese

if it is nl x bb like elevatorman said, i love old school nl.

oh and cheese is 21 years old, and luton is in bedfordshire, not london.

just clearing tings up.

Here's the blues at eight weeks - one week to go, and the buds are rock-hard, stinky and sticky:

I know two folks in London and more in other towns that grow the blues, so I'm not sure how accurate any of this speculation is, especially 'origins'. Another site is currently running a similar (and pointless) debate on the blues and 'location, location, location', which makes me think that LEO won't be far behind. They only glean what they can from sketchy sources and informants, and therefore this is hardly useful or sensible speculation to be holding on the 'World Wide Web'.

If folks spent as much energy wittling online about what they were smoking as they did about where people live, it would hugely improve the UK growing scene. And there'd a be a lot fewer busts too...;o)

Though I should add that discussing what they are is primarily the purpose of this thread, so I'm not complaining too much, but what town a strain 'lives' in isn't very accurate in this case...

are you saying 21 years because of the Exodus crew`s "from dates"?.....

an are we sayin Cheese is from Luton because of the old Exodus campout`s too ??

Hay EM....what do you think of the blues taste?, in comparison to Cheese?...

it seems like your 1 of the only guys here who has actualy tasted the blues, apart from me:)...

Hay $

the berry your talking about is something i taste every day,,,Cheese is good,,,the stink is perfect ,,,,,but the berry taste is missing from Cheese`s smoke.......the blues brings that blue taste in the smoke,,propper HEAVY BlueBerry!!

Hey UKer's watagwarn? Just been catching up on my favourite thread!
Cmoon love that Bako,,looks Phat!

JohnGoodman howzitgoin mate? Those new cuts of yours look cool mate.....Thanks for the props by the way...Check ya msg's.

LLP that Kat and Scoom sound very exotic mate good luck with those.....I hope the LP and PPSk turn out for ya,In my experience that PPSk cut always preflowers really early so even if you go from a fresh cut it may still be a hairy bugger early on....It does go for it quite vigorously when it blooms though and usually more than doubles in height and width.........Nice to hear you and ya crews are keepin the party vibe alive...
Big up to all UK Tech's,DJ's,Producers,Ravers,Driver's,Organisers,Trichomologists and Soundsystems for Making life so much fun for our little period of Youthdom and beyond for those that follow still!! Cultural Revolution in Total EFX UK style!

Verdant Green nice to see ya! I did a deep dreamy Bass heavy 10 minute mix of that track with J from beloved in a little studio in Kent I worked at for a year or so when I was about 18. I seem to remember I had to skin up for him as well...lol..Popstars eh! I've been trying to find a vinyl copy of the remix e.p. with our mix on it as I lost my copies ages back,no luck so far though as there were 3 remix 12's of it and mine was on the 3rd and final remix 12 on a limited(500?) release. It was great for me at the time because I knew that track a few months b4 it was released and was there at "Sunrise" at 6am when they first played it anywhere at a rave...It sounded like 100k of Pure Heaven....I'll never forget it!!! Pink and Yellow Cali's were out of this world :abduct: :1help: JBo

i'm sayin 21 years since matey started his skunk#1 seeds.

dont actually think matey was from luton, same as psycho wasn't bred in luton. but exodus just made those cuts famous. maybe these strains wouldn't have gained as much popularity had not exodus been so open about their weed growing.

Rick - I don't rate Cheese that highly anyway, so it wouldn't be hard for me to top it, but the blues is much sweeter-tasting, almost sickly. But I've never detected 'berry' smells in Cheese at all - more like old socks! I don't rate the blues much higher to be honest, but it's one the few strains that makes me tired, so it'll be handy for bedtime.

Sorry to be so down on all these 'exciting strains', but after 15-20 years, they are really not very exciting to me, and I'm trying to wean my friends off them, but with cash being their main goal, that will be difficult.

But there's definitely a 'family resemblance' between Cheese, blues, Mystery Strain, etc. and I'm reluctantly thinking it might be Skunk, though I've never actually seen Skunk like this - they're always fluffy, fruity and not dense at all. So maybe it is NL X BigBud after all...
