I decided that in the mean time I should take some pics of the nugs so far just to show off a bit. talk about temptation... they've now been drying for 4 days. stems aren't snappy just yet...

if you put a splitter o two under it ...they have 42 watts cfl for 9 bucks at wally world
you can tweak however u need to but its a duct flange..with a slice in it to fit the clip work light with ceramic mogul base...and duct tape...bam

with 4 x 42 watt cfl's you can grow from start to finish..a 105 vwatt cfl equals around a 250 HID light....so if you do the math it will work out...
i added two to a row of 4 18 inch flourescents from wal mart i mouted them onto a piece of ply wood...ive ben using them for about 3 years now..i recenlty up graded since i have a different goal now that requires more watts..

Hey, pthway, try Envirolites, they're like really big CFL's, but quite efficient. They make 125,200 and also 250 watters of those. I had one grow with 2 of those(2x200w red spec.) got like 40g of one plant(first grow). I have to mention that they're really good for vegging. I used 1x200w, blue spec. and i use it now too- it's great.
Umm, and 105w Cfl doesn't equal with 250w HPS, more like 300-400w of CFL equals with 250w HPS.

The smoke report:
man, that must be one of the most important things in a growers life. The rewards of the first grow! In any case, I packed a bowl and smoked it through an ice bong. that made the smoke really mellow and it tasted kinda piny yet sweet. It wasn't fully dry yet though and the next time I lit the bong (without ice that time) the smoke was still a bit harsh and it didn't burn fully. It had been drying for 5 days only though.
The high, I reckon, was in the top5 I've had. It first creeps for a few moments and before I realized I was laughing and generally had a really good mood. It almost felt like there was cement in my cheeks and it was drying so I couldn't wipe that smile off my face. The cheerfulness lasted throughout the whole high. After about an hour the real indica side of things starts to overtake you. You get the munchies... And after eating a whole bunch of random but incredibly tasty things the sleepiness is there. You're sitting on the couch, staring at a single place while your mind is rushing at 309712 different thoughts per second. The end bit is nice and goes slowly, no paranoia, no panic what-so-ever. A perfect smoke for a nice evening when you want to have a good night's sleep.
The whole high lasted for around 3 hours. I'm sure the potency will increase as it cures a bit but at the moment I can't complain at all. I'm not a heavy smoker (hadn't had a toke for 3 months before this!
) so ½bowl kept me in the mood for a long-long time.
Overall feelings? A nice smoke at the end of the day! wouldn't smoke it in the morning if you were planning on doing something that day though

some updates as well: Currently at 37 days from seed.
The new northern lights is REALLY branchy, I mean seriously. Like a mini bush in the closet! So far it's doing great. It's now been 3 days of 12/12 for it and no signs of sex yet.
And here's the WW. HE is now looking really nice... although as you might have read... it's unfortunately a he 
I wont chop him though. This time I'm seriously planning on getting some pollen for the future. It is a nice plant after all. has a really nice lemony smell as well!

How many NL seeds you have left now ?
I'm thinking that you maybe should have taken some clones and veg them in your PC growroom, until these finish.. as you know there's a big problem with getting seeds in our country.

I haven't got any NL seeds left. Just two more WW-s to go. I'm planning a trip to amsterdam soon so there's no problem with the seeds... at least it's not going to be a problem for a while :smile:

wow teerull, that nl has awsome branching. i hope mine get that nice dude.. how tall is it at the moment? u should try making a cross with the ww and nl..u wont have to worry bout seeds for a LONG time.

ok, It's been a while... Been enjoying the last harvest quite a bit lately. top stuff I must admit.
Anyways, things are looking really good. the NL is so branchy it's actually ridiculous. I chopped the male widow today but kept the fan leaves coz I want to try and make some tea with them. Really love the lemony scent it has, so hopefully it will make some nice tea!
I think I need to make a separate thread though... It doesn't really have much to do with a PC any more... just for the clones...

the tip of the NL that I cut off didn't make it unfortunately... the two smaller ones aren't going that strong, but there has been some new growth.. I won't count on them making it though... I still think they were a bit too small when I took them... However the big one is going really strong at the moment, nice green new growth and the overall look is fine. No signs of roots on any of them yet. The big one is about 5 days old and the two smaller ones are like 10days in..

süsinikfilter oli nii ja naa, aitas raudselt, aga kõike ei võtnud ära.. siis kui tuled põlesid vähemalt, sest mul oli selleks ajaks ka tulede peale vent puhumas ning selle tõttu ei jõudnud siis õige exhaust suht välja imeda piisavalt sealt ning tuli igaltpoolt kõrvalt ja värki.. pole see PC teab mis hästi ehitatud kah. aga pimeda ajal, kui lisavent ei töötanud, siis oli suht 100% lõhnavaba tuba :wink:'
