Sounds like it

Doesnt look like it yet

Is that perforated piping?

Im curious why HR or any of his followers use substrate in the flooded tube at all?

I recal HR saying he was going naked roots second run of the flooded tube

So NEPHILTHIM Why are u using substrate in the tube?
Good luck on the build, I'm along

I'm building my tubes this fall or winter, depends on the OD season

NICE RUN PiffGuru!! :D

RE substrate, Nevermind, I was thinking of his earlier gutter setup that had rocks in the whole system.

So in that pipe, whats your gap under the pot?
Does it sit against the curve?
And that creates the gap?

o.k. stonehenge update ...........slowly...I have no clones so posting my new d.i.y.7 - 23 watt cfl clning chamber ,and my stonehengingflooded tube.when I get around to it doh tighten up some leaky fitting from being loosened while adjusting for level.I don't have a level surface, but if you start from the top level each sections support with framing and strapping then it's a lot easier.I figure the system holds 32 gallons roughly.so i am going to experiment with a kiddy pool for a resevoir I have a 1000 gph pump without a diverter so it drains res before refilling with a 12 gallon res so bigger res or divert flow with a 1000 gph pump.
if you plan on using blue pipe cement ventilate area crap is toxic to breathe, and make sure you clean and coat inside fitting outside pipe suffeciently, push together while twisting until pushed together completely.
Iplan on running system when cutting holes for net pots need a 3"rigid circular bit and guide drill.
