So just copy as many as I can and just give them to people, explaining our cause? Do I need to put any of my info on the petition or is all the info intended for the voter???

Get it to Kim Russell's committee in Orlando as she is heading it up.
I will have more info soon and will post it. I am now collecting signatures.

Madrecinco, thanks for putting this up.
P-Nut, nice to see the religous base being targeted. you are right on with your approach, also hit them with this is an act of compassion towards the sick and disabled.

i am a c5-c6 quadriplegic the uses MM for relief of severe spasms so i pray that this gets passed b/c i am tired of living under this oppression. i am almost to the point of demonstrating outside my local courthouse (where i used to work) by lighting up knowing i will get arrested. there is NO way a that they can say that there is no medicinal benefits to MM if i got arrested b/c i am paralyzed and have no voluntary movement of my legs or fingers. w/o MM i will have severe spasms that can cause me to flip out of my chair. i would love to show the court (by taking a few hits of MJ in court) how quickly spasms are eliminated after smoking cannabis.
if i ever did get arrested b/c of MM then i would do my time then move out of Fla.

770,000 signatures......im 1 but i hope to get 100 more to sign the petition.

What stage is your pressure ulcer and what treatment are you currently doing?
You do know you cannot sit in your wheelchair for more than 2 hours without shifting I hope. Keeping pressure relieved to the bony prominences like the ishial tuberosities is the key to prevent pressure ulcers. After 2 hours of no blood flow to the butt it starts to necrose from lack of O2 carried by the blood.

Prevention is key as they are hard to heal once started. And get infected with MRSA or VRE easily. Eat protien because if your albumin is low it just won't heal. I have seen ppl die from them and it is a big problem to us nurses.
But I have decided not to get involved in the weed movement. The masses don't have the passion and sacrifice of my generation to fight for RIGHT! I gave enough for the women' movement and granny is tired. But if I can advise you on your pressure ulcer if you need. Get my email soon though as I am shutting down my PM soon here.

K f.u.c.k.i.n.g plus for the sticky! Being a FL boy myself, I got ONE question about the petition. It has a spot on the bottom of the second page for a paid petitioner. Is the petition still valid if we collect signatures and completed petitions, but are not a Paid Petition Circulator? I just wanna make sure that these votes/signatures "COUNT". Ya know what I mean? Anyone?
good vibes

WE gotta get out there and do this guys! If we don't and it doesn't pass...its OUR fault!...(kinda....lol)

ya this is priority 1 for FL now (well in my opinion lol). Printing out some as we speak

I'm excited over the prospects and am putting my full energy into this. I've been waiting YEARS for this...cannabis is the ONLY thing that helps me and my condition, besides mass pain meds.

We need to drop off info about cannabis and it's uses to the old folks homes. They are going to be our greatest adversary in this fight.

Yes that is a true and interesting point johnny. The only ones that will fight it are the uneducated ones.

I was going to the Senior Center to help out at their lunch and maybe educate today on MMJ but the baby is sick and I don't want to spread germs to the frail elderly voters.
So I will get signatures and educate voters Thurday.....my day off from babysitting.....but they do just love the Jakinator when we do visit them there. Wish I could just get him to collect the signatures as he is sooooo cute and quite adorable. But not good ethics in that. LOL

It is encouraging that the Supreme court Monday upheld state rights to implement and administer their programs and they affirm that federal law does not preempt state MMJ laws. It does not seem Obama will be much help until maybe his next term as he seems to be trying to stabilize the economy and get universal healthcare.
Politicians will not risk their career to back the Florida movement without the ppl of Florida getting this petition done by Feb 1st.....
So if you are ever going to lend your help contact Kim Russell in Orlando and her PAC.....and get some signatures for her movement.
