Topsy Turvy- Sweet Tooth Pollinated

Halo Everyone! Wanted to share something different with everyone-- The "Topsy Turvy" hanging planter. Now remember this plant if hanging from the ceiling!! I thought I would grow some plants out with this new type of planter just as an experiment and I am actually quite pleased with its performance!

I decided to plant a Sweet Tooth x Warlock gal in order to hit her up with some Cinderella 99 pollen. Now when looking at these pictures, please keep in mind this gal has been in flowering only 5.5 weeks! This Sweet Tooth x Warlock IS the HEAVY EARLY!! I am looking forward to growing the seeds from this gal out.

Samuraioro-- yeah, Thanks! This Topsy Turvy (TT) thing works too well-- it's so simple and especially since cannabis in its growth cycle tends to be very flexible and because cannabis grows so well toward lighting. Of course, some strains would adapt better than others, that's why I did a heavy indica- leaning strain like this one and I have another TT with the Love Potion#2 in it. My thoughts are more sativa strains would adapt even better!

Italianio715-- the lighting was place on top lighting downward. These would probably work even better with additional side lighting. I could see some of the good growers here blowing these TT's up with some major side lighting and some MAJOR yields!

Joebean91-- I assume you meant that literally! But if I did turn it over, the container might collapse somewhat since it is simply a nylon-type bag with a heavy cable wire support. But, by now the container bag is filled with a strong root system and should act as a support. The directions call for a two inch gap on top as a res for the water. But that does seem like a good idea! Thanks! Now only if I had some floor space in my flowering rooms!!!

As a side note: I watered this TT with a drip line from my drip irrigation manifold. I wasn't sure if this would work since all remaining buckets were on the floor. This drip line worked perfectly! probably because I run a very big water pump on my system.

Also, I quickly found out that I had to make sure there were no flowering plants directly underneath the TT since the drainage holes are located on the outer edge underneath the TT all the way around-- if that makes sense!

The other test planter- Topsy Turvy has the Love Potion#2 I spoke about. And it's developing much longer colas, but of course will take much longer to finish. I may take some shots of her if anyone is interested.. LMK.
