So Many new faces and old friends...

So Many new faces and old friends...

Thank You Everyone! It is gratifying to hear all the praises of my genetics. My work has continued and my seeds are consistantly the same with one new strain done. Sour Lifesaver is new and limited in supply. None has ever been released but will be soon. Blush is my Blue Kush that takes the Kush side of my bubblegum and crosses that with my Blue Moon Rocks. Its really Sour BMR but what's in a name. I still have Lifestar ready to produce but I really am not here to promote my seeds.

I missed you all and even though I don't have the spare time I once had there is plenty of time to try and share the things that have really increased my yields and quality of my indoor grow. This will be a long thread and it will take a while but any question if ok. Many questions were posed over the days I left this beginning for you to ponder. Let me clarify about yields a bit.

2 lbs. per light is not the maximum achievable but with Sour Bubble that is my goal. I figure this over a 2 month period of flowering even though Sour Bubble finishes in 51 under lights with 2-3 days in low lighting to finish and resin up more. This is how I won the LA Cup. The low light time at the end has been called 48 hrs in the dark but dark isnt best. I move my plants a few feet away from the lights is all and remove the leaves. This lets light hit the lower buds that arent quite done. This time also lets the main colas continue to resin without going past peak.

The 494 gram Sour Bubble plant was vegged in a 15 gallon pot and was my biggest indoor plant ever. It was to market seeds. I didn't recommend anyone grow plants that big indoors. My Sour Bubble clone is the same one I have had for over 8 years now. If course there have been many clones of clones too numerous to name and this proves that clones don't deteriorate if selection is always done properly.

I will be taking more pics of the products the plants and everything but this will take some work so bare with me. ;) You can stay dressed if you like but clothing is optional especially for the ladies. You should have a toke or two first before learning as it puts the mind in an open state so that you can continue to learn with the begineers mind. I know most of you aren't begineers but everyone should still be able to learn.

So what is new? Do I still double pot? Not really ya know I also had my elevated transplanting technique that seems to work almost as well and is easier to do. Of late I clone them place the plugs in a 24 oz agricultural cup until the plant is about 15 inches tall. For cloning I have a thermostated heating mat and I use clonex gel with Olivia's cloning solution. I take a clone at this stage, wait a couple days and transplant to a three gallon pot. A second cloning is often done as the clones march their way toward flowering. I flower them when they his Mrs. BOG's tit height. About 4 ft. I usually have 2-4 main arms.

My flowering has air cooled 1000 watt hps lighting and a CO2 burner with temperature regulator that runs exhaust fan in opposition with the burner. Humidity is also regulated and 2 fans ventilate the 6k grow. I will show you all this later. I have switched soils and ferts due to the availability in my area of more choices. In veg we just use Foxfarm Grow Big and in Flower my main Bloom food is Botanicare Pure Blend Bloom for soil. I also hit the plants at the start of flower with Bushmaster, 1 tsp. per gallon. This stops vertical growth and hurries the plant into budding.

I use Foxfarm Big Bloom for my last feeding in flower 10 days before finish at a rate of 1/8 cup per gallon. I use Pro-Mix HP soil with a little bone meal added for the final transplants into the 3 gallon pots, just the mix with no bone meal for vegging plants until then. Its really pretty simple but I control mites and mildew as well. I run my humidity in flower at 50% and the temp in flower at about 84 f. Pics of the grow and products later...

The advantage continuous production has the veg room always keeping the flowering room full. 10 plants go into flower every week and 10 clones are taken every week. 10 transplants of small plants to large pots are done each week and 10 plants are trimmed each week. I average just over 2 oz per plant when dried and trimmed. So thats 20 oz per week. 24 is possible in a good week and 16 us usually minimum so the average works out to 5 lbs a month, seems like my family smokes about a lb a month. :yoinks:

Let me see if I have any more pics ready. In the first pics the two buds shown together were actually Bogglegum. A real big yielder. BOG

The first two pics are of Sour Bubble buds and the last pic is of the Sour Lifesaver Seeds being made on a Sour Bubble clone...

BOG...really glad to see you back around these parts.

I've been a fan of your work since OG and have been dreaming of running your gear since I first saw pictures of Lifesaver.

Your threads are partly what motivated me and convinced me I can grow my own.

I'll never get to smoke some BOG bud myself but I wanted to still thank you for sharing your techniques and genetics with the community. Few have had the effect that you have.

oh yeah. now that your here. I noticed over the last couple years BCBD in Canada were the only seed bank in the fukin world who carried your seeds after you were gone. So let me ask. Are those really your seeds or did they knock them off?? I never ended up ordering any because of the rumors they were fake.

Favorite strain?

Favorite strain?

Bog,
Welcome back! Just wondering what your personal favorite strain of yours is? Also what strain would you recommend for Crohn's? Thanks again, and good to see you back. Have always wanted to try some of your beans, since the OG days! Hope all is well.

will you be bringing back your whole line of seeds? or just new ones?
...im another stupid one that just looked at the seeds for sale and didnt press the buy button and just always thought they would be there to grab...GRRRRRRRRRRR lol

though if ya get seeds up for sale they will be sold out before most can get a look in lol...guess i better start saving :D

why dont you recommend ppl growing a big ass plant like your Sour Bubble ? thats the size i usually strive for...only in the last couple of years ive done the 2 oz size plants due to wanting to hide them in a smaller spot but want to get back into the big trees..much easyer i feel when you want a lot of one strain (weight ) instead of lots of plants of the same strain...and ive been doing that in a room of 400's ...the only problem i see is the longer veg time....be good to hear your reasoning behind that statement .....all the best!.HH. =]-~

Welcome back! This is very exciting news, I've wanted to try so many of your strains since I learned about them, especially Bogglegum. Hope everything is well and look forward to whatever you might have in store. Quick question for anyone.....are the BOG seeds sold from Sacred Seed in Toronto the real deal?

BOG,
Glad to see you again. I bought your book and put it to good use with your production techniques. I still have some of your gear, and I have been holding it, including the sour bubble.

Always a student
