whats up everyone.... i am back and up and running. I set up my recirculating system. everything is working as it should. The only bad part about the whole thing is that i had let the clones go a little to long and all the roots tangled together and i had to rip them apart. They are finally coming out of re-veg. yah.... I will post pics when i have a chance. I have been working out of town a lot so i have not had time to do much of anything. I am using a 400wcmh for my veg. then i am going to switch to the 1000w digi.

well i guess i am not going to get any responses until i post some pics. I am in veg and the only thing that i added was some root organics. so i could have some beneficial bacteria. Now is there anything that i could add to help the root mass so my yield is good.

Don't get discouraged because of slow responses. I too have a Hindu Kush, Bubblelicious and Southern Lights grow and don't get many responses. Now if we had a Chem, Sour Diesel and OG kush grow going we would have 10,000 responses by now lol.

Is your HK's from Nirvana? I have 2 that were just flipped to 12/12 this last week but am doing soilless. I have never tried these before so I am looking forward to it.

sorry about the pics being upside down i took them with my phone cam. the phone is new so i didnt know they would turn out like that. Not things are going to start rolling in now. I just added my co2 this morning. So i am looking forward to seeing what that will do for veg.

ok so i found out how to change them the right way so here they are.

so now you can see they are just coming out of re veg. thank god that took a couple of weeks.

LOL on the "if we had Chem, SourD there would be a zillion posts" etc. I'm running a single plant ChemD scrog cabinet.

I can assure you, most of my thread is me talking to myself...which is fine because the reason it's up there is to help me record the grow for my own notes and hopefully show some new growers how easy this whole thing can be....it only has to be as comlpex as you choose to make it.

I'm curious about your re-veg though...they look pretty small to be getting re-vegged. Were they lollipop style/SOG flowered straight from clone or something before th reveg?

Nice avatar Oregon guy. Nothing like seeing that sign every morning crossing the bridge or going to Sat Market. I LOVED living in Portland, still wish I was there in a lot of ways. Used to live in the SE near Hawthorne. Don't miss the rain, but I do miss the beer...especially miser Mondays at the Lucky Lab...and I miss my Stumptown coffee on Division.

Elcap the only thing was i waiting to long for the clones to be repoted. They were all root bound tangled roots. i had to rip them apart put them into shock. Then they rooted again reveged and now they are starting to look like they should. added co2 this morning so i am going to wait to see a difference.

I am trying to develop a good root system what would i use during veg to help out with the roots. looking for some good advice.

GG1 I'm lovin your set up man, can you tell me a little more about it? Is your Res on the outside of your space?
My cuttings were already showing budsites when i got them so just got them on an 18/6 the person i had them off does sog.
Did you have any problems re-vegging? Mine are like tiny compared to yours

Personally I use NItrozym pure organic growth enhancer (only because it came with the system I bought) but it works great for me

standaman i have my res in the same room as my plants. as you see i have a recirculating system. I also put air stones in each bucket as well i know you dont have to but i am not looking for any problems.

Mark1253 I put in roots organic in last week but that is the only thing other then my veg nutes.

Yeah mine is too but just a 4 bucket system i have 2 air stones in mine as of yesterday

No i say more bubbles means more growth and happier roots even big roots! But one thing i noticed i could do with a bigger air pump now running 2 per pot.

I really like yours though bet you get monster trees with the co2 also, how long do you veg for?

well standaman.... i dont know what size i am going to get this time this is my first grow in a recirculating system. so far i have been vegging for a couple of weeks. I waited to long to plant my clones and i had to rip the roots apart. so since they have re vegged they are starting to come along nicely. I think i am going to have to flip soon.

Yeah well if they have 4 or more nodes then your good to crank them, wednesday is my 2nd week of veg but 3 of 5 are healthy but 2 i think a runts and if they don't move soon i'm pulling them, so maybe one week and i too will be flowering

I still am not sure what i should use for building a strong root system. Standaman, What size light are you using for veg. and what size light are you going to flower with.

I just think a cool res with no light leaks with lots of bubbles is the best way for good roots your nutrients should do the rest.

I'm using 2 x 600 for veg and flower but may switch to a single 600 MH cos right at this moment its running hot at 28-30c and that ain't good, then flip back to 2 600's when i got money to cool this bitch or change my lights on to run at night into the morning.

Hey guys Silica Blast by Botanicare http://www.planetnatural.com/site/silica-blast.html is killer for roots. A big air pump will work wonders as well. I use a Sun Leaves 35w air pump to run 12 stones in 6 buckets. Gives tons of bubbles and roots are very happy. In theory all you need is lots of air and correct temps so keep those nutes chill and you should be good. Oh and if you do use the Silica Blast use it at 1/2 strength or less for DWC!
