Nicknamed: Blues Brothers

******'s Blueberry Indica x Motarebels Blue Kronic.

Soaked in distilled water until seeds sank to bottom and stayed.
germinated in damp paper towels inside ziploc baggies, then placed on top of cablebox for heat. Overnight 3 of 5 had tails sprouted. After midday all were sprouted and ready to be planted.

Soil: Scott's Premium for 1st 2wks in 3" pots, then into a Coco mix.
Lights: Flourescents and 600w HPS with extra blue spectrum for vegging.
Pot: 3" to start, 1.3 gal square pots & finally 2.8 gal square pots all white.
Foods: CNS17 Grow/Bloom with lots of extra's.

And it looks like BB #2 may already be a nice surprise. Hoping for a nice purple pheno from this awesome mix. And here's a quick shot.

come along for the ride as I sprout and grow these (5) side by side with (5) C99's and a few LUI clones.

Finally tally is as follows: Only 2 of the 5 Blueberry crosses made it, they actually popped and then just stunted with no growth. So, I decided to go ahead and drop down 5 - F2 seeds of some C99 I got from an Aussie mate. His Mother plant is a high yielder. 4 of 5 popped and already caught up to the BB babies. So, wound up with a total of 6 seedlings to work with.
This cross of Blueberry and Blue Kronic already looks amazing. Both are showing streaks of purple on the leaf's and early trich development. Fingers crossed.

Keep ya updated as things progress.

Thanks man. I've only had one purple pheno before this one. The ONE by ******. Power outage killed me clones off. was really bummed on that one. So, fingers crossed on a nice pheno out of these 2.

Things are taking off nicely and both show a nice wide leaf and the Blueberry Indica trait for sure.

Babies are looking good. I've been experimenting lately with transplanting as soon as the tap root reaches the bottom of the first planter. It will stay in this 1.2 gal pot thru veg and go to a 2.8gal a week prior to flowering. The 2 are very similar and may be the same phenotype. I left 2 of the C99 in the smaller pots to compare vegging conditions later on.

Although the purple streaks are going away. I've seen this before and only when if flowers will I know if it returns. Fingers crossed.:joint:

Thanks so much. They look better by the day.

The Blueberry cross's show very little stretching but leaf growth is fine. C99
has much more early stretch and even more explosive growth.

I've added more vegging lights and have them mere inches above the plant canopy to keep stretching to a minimum. Keep ya's posted on progress which hopefully really improves now.

Looks like I may have gotten a bit lucky and found only my 2nd purple phenotype plant. And fingers crossed it's a female, and early signs say yes.

Remember how this one showed purple leaf's at birth, but since this was on the cotyledon leaf's , I wasn't sure it would come back. Today was rinse day where I just take distilled water and rinse off the bug spray and foilage feedings of the week. And this is what I ran across to my delight.

Not much stretch to these 2 plants at all yet. lots of growth but still only about 2-3 inches tall. Well, I try to keep the lights right on top of the plants as I use Flouro's to veg on 18/6. Hopefully be switching to some T-5's soon to drastically improve my vegging growth rate.
