Schematic Needed??????

I need a Schematic or layout for a Breaker/service panel with TIME DELAYS. Multiple 1k's used so a schematic on how to delay the start up of 15kw in 5 minute intervals is needed. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks a bunch.:joint:

im also interested in this as well... i believe you would have to start at 5 1k's at a time with a interval of 5-10-15 mins between each set as 15k worth of current being drawn all at once will be bad news might even pop the transformer! im sure the master electrician RELIEF could help you out...were you at mate? this should also all be ran at 240 volts to lower the amps.
good luck...im interested in a answer as well.

Not to be a cock here but whats the problem? just get the breakers and hook em up? If the individual breakers has a built in delay(or adjustable one) then it should be just a matter of setting the right time. Plug one phase to main timer and and the other phase on each individual breaker from one inital "on" point. Try to avoid using both phases through the timer as the wiring is much more resiliant than it is.

......and onward til reached max amps pr main breaker.

This is what your asking right? Im not sure about the price of these items, so it might be more economical to buy a main breaker to use before the timer and use individual timedelay relays after the timer. And remember the first breaker does not really need to be in timedelay, but this drawing was for many units, so the first unit need not have it but the rest do.

This panel is for 15- 1000 watt lights to have a delayed start-up for the purpose of not blowing a residential transformer (i.e. a 25 dual) any professional help is always appreciated and welcome. Thanks again.

the search function is broken again but you should be able to find somethign when it recovers by searching for 'lighting controller'
