Newbie question - breeding

Hi there. Been looking around this forum for quite some time now. But there`s something i really don`t understand

If i cross a fem plant with male pollen from another stain. How would my new stain turn out..? Is there any "rules" here?

For example: If I give a haze fem plant lowryder pollen, would the new seeds have haze potency, with lowryder autoflowering grow..? Or would the new seeds have lowryder potency with haze plant growth..?

As a general rule, when you cross two strains, you will end up with a bunch of phenotypes(plants that are clearly different from each other in your case). That means some will be more like low rider, some will be more like haze<<the simple way of explaining it. You should read the forum "Breeding for beginners"(link at bottom of post) as it goes into detail on every part of breeding, and is very informative.

I,ve been told that if you cross two plants...
the F1's(children) will be uniform
then u cross the ...(F1 X F1)= F2.....now the grandchildren will show all the phenno's about
and then u pick the one u like from that batch and clone her....

check my sig for a seed making thread..v
