Shortage on the EC!

I recently found out the reason my lovely Coast is in a serious state of shortage atm.....

After a very prolific fall and winter of a huge influx of cali outdoors..... and maybe some mexican grown cali strains...... the well has dried up for some time on this coast.....

after speaking with some close homies in the loop over in cal..... since feb announcements of possible legalizations.... the number of dispensaries in cali is now goin through the roof!!!!!!

70 or something now in pasadena alone.....

meaning cali's major export is now being consumed within its own state!!!!

Supply and demand are equalizing and therefore us over here on the EC are experiencing a drought!!!!!

Quite frustrating for us......

Unfortunately, as it was we didnt really get much of if any of the crazy fire they have circulating over there, mothership, spaceship, pumpkin spice, bubba kush, pure kush, SFV etc...... we do get GDP, TW and maybe a few others in the mid range.....


we see alot of OG Kush and Purple Kush, saw some banana recently...... but its mostly commercial generic "kush" with no specific name in particular..... smells like kush but nothing like the fire I get when in cal......

if any super craziness does come through, it comes in limited quantities and is inconsistent.......

Florida is steppin up her game..... haze is no longer her staple crop..... lots of ushy comin from here now too....

i knew we moved weight to other states but never would i have thought that we would cause a drought in those states if we self consumed. Sorry to hear the bad news. Sounds like it is time to up the lights in your state that are growing weed.

That is a really long ass drive from the WC to the EC. Really long. The market acting like that does make sense though. Opportunities are created when markets change, so where will the new supply come from to meet the EC demand? I don't like the answer to that. The EC needs a friendly state fast.

We seem ok over on the WC of Florida and no shortage for me yet.....I hope this petition gets 770,000 signatures so Florida will give it to the voters next year.

Fed Ex ....I know sells their routes out to individuals as my son is looking into buying some of their good routes. I am not comfortable recieving it that way though....I know someone busted for that......I get menus from Dr Green @ Dakota Pets monthly still though from Cali.

It's been severely dry on the northern section of the east coast for months now. All can be found is nasty chemical laden beasters and thats going for 250 a bag now.....It's sickening....

a drought doesnt mean that every single person is out or unable to get weed, or good weed...what it really means...

say you have 50,000 pounds of CHRONIC, im talking GOOD GOOD stuff come to the eastern coast through multiple shipments/dealers. through middling, smoking...more than likely only 45 makes it to the hands of street dealers. then you're talking like anywhere from 3-10 states, do the math, do the division...some states have hundreds of thousands of smokers...


then say that that 50,000 drops to 10,000.

people will still smoke and have it, but either you lucked out and know people who got some, or you're like the other 80% of people who are out.

but then comes the definitions of what each individuals considers homegrown/chronic, beasters, high mids, etc. its all frame of reference..

Sounds like the drought is hitting you guys early this year.


Even in Cali we have droughts, last year during August was fucking terrible, indoors were no where to be found for under 4000. that was just in my network so maybe some of you other guys were fully stocked.

I cant imagine how bad a drougt out on the EC would be though. at least during a drought here we can still get weed, but the quality versus price is just not as good.

Im gearing up for this years drought by trying to plan a few perpetual harvests to hit during july and august.

come october its flood season all over again and sometimes you cant give weed away for anything more than 2800 a P.

You guys are all lucky. Here in south UK, we've had a drought for about the last year. There have been frequent busts in the area, which I suspect is the cause.

If I can find any weed, there's probably around an 80% chance it's contaminated with either some kind of chemical spray, or glass. My usual contact is now out of reach and has also been supplying contaminated UK Cheese recently too. I know people who have coughed up blood after accidentally smoking some of this contaminated rubbish. It's getting really bad.

The only people selling weed that I know of are all young pikeys that are just out to rip people off as much as they can get away with. I assume there are other, more honest people out there selling, but they seem impossible to find.

when you need at least a pound every week shit dries up quick, i would love to meet some new folks who can steady connect it, but the fact is, i have 6 or 7 guys who all usually harvest 3-4 pounds a month and its still not enough. when demand here in cali rises and our supply isnt too much i can see how the rest of the nation starves. even though i know its looking good in atl, georgia right now because they just got some cali bubba kush from my boy!

i dont see drought in cali....but i do understand why things wouldnt be making it out there...obviously the boom of dispensaries, and the feds going by states' laws, but if prices bottom out in cali, i would assume that the non-commercial growers that are smalltime farmers that need price because they are going by state laws, and cant afford to drop insane insiders for what clubs are willing to pay than i would assume things would migrate other places???
