the best sd hydro i know of is the san marcos one...the guys that usually work there are super friendly and knowlegdable, but the napier ones going down the hole now...

For those of you in north county I've used greentrees and hydrobrew both and never had any issues. Very knowledgeble staff and the owners work there too.
I like Hydrobrew because its a brewing store also so you could be going there for your brewing supplies.

Hydrobrew is in O-side by surf bowl and yes 1st and formost they are an excellent brewing supply store. The owner is an awesome brewer and I knew him before he opend the shop, good person. The also have a very nice selection of growing products as well. The store is litterally 1/2 hydro 1/2 brewing supplies.

Greentrees is in Vista in the business park area. Been in business for years That may be the one you are referring to in San Marcos because I don't know of any in SM? This is 100% growing supplies.

Both have websites but Hydrobrew has more on the shelves than what shows in the hydro section of the web site.

the purekush APE has is Wick's pure kush, not the purekush that swerve used to vend. It is said to be much better and more potent.

the story i got from a bro who smoked the pure kush cut was this: he smoked a few hits before leaving his bro's house, got into his car. before he realized what he was doing, he had put it into reverse and backed thru two lanes of traffic before he realized he was moving! at the point he asked me if i wanted a cut. duuhh! i think you were there when he told the story werent you spicoli?

I know that a lot of folks have some issues with SD hydro, but i go the the lakeside store and have dealt with quite a few of the guys there. Biggest problem is that there is a lot of turnover. Most regs get 10% discount. I used to get 15 from several of the guys I knew. One even gave me 25% on a large purchase. Most people don't realize that a large container(2.5 gal) of Floranova that they charge $180 for, only costs them $90. The last one that I bought only cost me $112.50 + tax. They changed personnel again and I will now have to pay around $160.

There is a small hydro shop in the south bay called Guerrilla Hydro I believe. I was going thru some crap cleaning up. I ran across a case of 600w MH bulbs that was accidentally shipped to me. I will never use them as I am a firm believer in 1000's. If anyone uses them shoot me a pm. Suerte JK

That family hydro has to be new. However once hydrobrew opened I never really went anywhere else or looked. I have not been in SD for almost 2 years now though too.
